I know about the kit but the guy at vdlaar told me the tank wouldn't work without the seat, the seat wouldn't work without the subframe. I'm sure he was just trying to sell me the whole kit.

If the tank will work by itself, I know what I'm saving for.
From their website.

"The interest in two-stroke engines is increasingly emerging. Unfortunately, there is already no 2-stroke engine made some more brands and other brands, there is little innovation to the appearance of the motor.Om that reason we at LR Racing Products developed a special conversion kit for the Yamaha 2-stroke engines. With a specially welded rear frame and a special fuel tank we can make the two-stroke Yamaha completely convert to the appearance of the new four-stroke Yamaha!"

I know, but the bike I was refering to had the stock subframe and airbox. Maybe even seat.

Well it's not "kick-ass", but got a new to me 2 stroke. 1975 MT 250 with 6500 miles. Just need to find a 73-74 CR cylinder, head, and carb for it. Yeah I know the turn signals aren't straight. Just got it off the UShip truck and snapped photos.

Jordan Scalvini's 06 RM250
How can a guy named Scalvini have a two-stroke and NOT have a Scalvini cone pipe on it?

Besides the tank being carbon, i love the custom gas cap. i wish us normal folk could get this carbon tank and gas cap combo. any idea where this was purchased?????

Someone should know, VLAD racing or something like that it's a euro company, some guys have talked about it on here.

yeah thanks travis h. i was just thinking with the different recessed gas cap that it may be another manufacturer, because i dont recall seeing any of the VLAD bikes with this style cap. then again i know i could be absolutely wrong and have missed the cap style on any of the other bikes that were said to be VLAD carbon tanks. either way thanks for the input and stay safe!
