Pretty sure this is the right place to ask.
Anybody had a 5th gen Hilux by any chance? I'm looking at the 2.4 diesel dual-cabs but just need to clear up a few things first, and since the most of you use trucks, I guessed one or two of you may have already had one.
What do they drive like, how well do they pull, what's the bed length like for getting big bikes in, prone to any problems, anything I should look out for?
Will be used as a daily, transporting bikes, both city and highway driving.
Looking to get one for my first car/truck after discovering that I can insure one for just £1500 a year(Insurance in the UK is ridiculous, if you think £1500 is bad, they wanted £5500 on a 4th gen Civic) which is ridiculously good for a 2.4 diesel at 19 years old, just want to make sure it's practical.

Here.
My unit had some 09 Hilux's in the states to outfit with armor and comms gear. We drove them around a bit to make sure everything was tight. We were like celebrities at the gas pumps as dudes were coming up to us asking us where they could get this diesel powered Toyota! Had to break the bad news to them.
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Win! Time to keep me eyes out.
My 86 fits my bike no problem. I wish we had the diesel here!
Edit: I don't know what the heck happened with the pic
Re- bikes in the tub, with the dual cabs it'll be tailgate down with wheels tucked in corners. Should be able to get 2 in. Extra cab you'll nearly get the tailgate up.
Last forever, keep the oil up, people move out of the way for you ( I had an fj40 - people shit scared of it). Happy driving
But still, only a Toyota could drive after falling from a building.
