Thinkin they are gonna need a skid near by to keep the berm from developing so the inside line on the Holeshot won't end up in the stands

They could have achieved the exact same thing just going out of the first turn, and then that other section would be longer.

The only thing I can think of is that they didn't want a right hand rut building up in the first turn.

Ya, well with that little single there, they'll have some massive acceleration holes from where they land!

There is literally no reason for it, plus, it'd be cooler to see them turning up the transition to the stands.
