I've been using Scott 89 Xi as long as I can remember. I love em but only problem is they are pretty tight on the bridge of my nose and it restricts my breathing. Anybody else have this problem?

I'm thinking of switching but not sure what brand. It's hard to tell in the shop. I wish I could try each brand at the track.

I had the same issue with them... I was stubborn to change but I'm so glad I did. I went with Oakley Crowbars. I wear Arai helmets and the Oakley's fit so much better on my nose.

I cut out that area and it still bugged me on my Scotts. I went back to my O'frames. They fit better in my Shoei DFX than the Crowbars.

Ive stuck with Oakleys for about 4 years now. Ive
had a shoei VFX-R and 4 One Ind. troopers. For
me Crowbars and O Frames have both done really well.

I have been wearing a Shoei with Scott/Spy goggles for years. I am a rep for Vega helmets so I figured I should be wearing what I sell and I could not breath threw my nose wearing the same goggles as the helmets cut pushed down in the goggles.

I feel the same way about Scott goggles. I wear Spy most of the time, but once in a while I'll use Oakley.

I like SPY except for the magneto foam coming apart.

I've worn the Scott 89's for years.Love them. But can't find them lenses,or tearoffs anymore.I got the NEW Scotts as a gift. They are too wide and leave gaps and mess with my vision.I bought some Spy's and they let dirt in no matter how tight I make them.Borrowed a pair of Pro Grip and they are awesome.....but I can't find tearoffs.Laughing My helmet is a medium 661.I'm guessing that limits my goggle choice. The opening seems small.

Oakley Crowbars rock, more protection then most, they fit well and the foam doesn't fall apart . plus they have those wings to pull on when your sitting on the line trying to keep them from fogging or letting in air when it's hot. Just got the new Stewart versions pretty wild !!!

I have same problem with most goggles, try the ones Scott makes to fit over glasses, That helped me a bunch.

The old Scott Nosweat IV was one of the best goggles of all time. It's too bad that Scott discontinued it because the Nosweat Xi is a bulky, ill fitting goggle.

i am a scott fan

with the NoSweatXi
pull the nose guard
and pull out the top piece
cut the tabs off and put them back in the holes so dirt doesn't come in

problem solved
06 Vmoto and Vfxr 09 model

without these adjustments i was getting alot of sweat spashback on the inside of the lens
without the nose piece and the brow bridge , it saves some room
