Someone would be lucky to give these two a couple of good rides. They would make them proud for sure. Good kids, great family line of MX and still young and talented enough to do something with it.

Was there with him on Saturday. Easily the best track in AZ right now. If you live in the area you must go there.

I bought a 125 a few weeks back that I found on Craigslist for cheap to go with my 250 and 450 and I love riding it. Took a little getting used to at first, but once I got the hang of it I was surprised at how fast you can actually ride them. Going through the rough stuff is a blast since you just hold it wide open and it feels like a bicycle after coming off of the bigger bikes.

No skills? Have you never ridden a 125? I mean other than down the street in your jeans and tank top or other than across the pasture in your overalls w. a piece of straw in your teeth.

A 125 takes a TON of skill. Every little movement matters. If you make one small mistake and lose your momentum it's magnified because you don't have all the torque to get you back going up to speed right away.

Some fast B riders are pro podium contenders now. So what's your point?

Your fuckin dumb. It was a pro rider that can obviously top ten a 450 national out screwing around on his 125. The season is over and he was having fun. Lets see some video of you on a 125. You probably look like a fuckin KTM junior supcross racer.

Mx is all about having fun, 2smokers are definitly more fun to ride than 4 strokes... Not to talk about the sound, damn I miss that sound on the races already... I've always riden 2strokes and will keep on doing it as long as they exist...

Chris rides the hell out of that 125! Looked like he was having a lot of fun... I just read on another site Michael is thinking about picking up a 125 too. It definitely will be cool to see them battling around the AZ tracks on their 2-strokes! Smile I'll just try to stay out of the way! haha

I honestly believe that riding a 2 stroke 125 here and there helps develop your skills even for racing 4 strokes. Although you don't have to carry momentum on a 4 stroke, it helps teach you to do that which in turn will still help you on a 4 stroke, just not as much.

I agree with this completely! Its also why I think the 150 is a bad move for a young rider. The 2 stroke 85 is so hard to ride fast and carry speed on it teaches you corner speed, and I don't think the 150 will do that and develop those skills as well. You can see how hard Chris had to ride to go that fast!

Its pretty cool to see how far he has came from those days... I have no doubt that both he and Michael are going to go even farther too!

They are gonna need some help though. If you read the other thread there grandma put up, they both got screwed with a team and are without help for 2009.
