But is it "Team MONSTER USA" again?

What's the official team name this year?

Actually, we're going with TEAM WORLD POLICE this time around....

And, to silence JAY500Guys&gals, I've been notified that the pistons are red &white with

matching highlighted rings, with circlips on the piston pin being a brilliant

blue hue with riders numbers etched in.

Handlebar tassles shall be bold and artfully mounted and displayed.

Playing cards attached by clothes pin, thwacking on spokes allowed in MX2 ONLY !!!

*Not sure if THWACKING is a word. Where THE F is word-nerd, dammit?

Sorry, Jay, but they look great! I am so happy our Team USA is going with very little "drama".

Have a great day, Jay.

Let monster sell the hell out of their brand. What do we care. Suck all the money out of the industry as possible. Aint no one else stepping up.

How many here buy that stuff? I used to love it until I had a 120 resting heart rate. Liquid crack. Its good, no doubt just not for me anymore.

Nobody is complaining that Byrne's bike has Rockstar on it, or Metcalf has Monster too and the same goes for AMA series regulars that ride for other countries. As a whole, we should be thankful that teams are supporting the MXdN along with the sponsors. Why does Suzuki have to prep a bike to compete against USA? Oviously, they are supporting the sport as a whole while not getting much in return for this particular race, same for the riders.

Back when Honda was the end all be all, were people up in arms that it was an all Honda team? It's no secret that Kawi has been on a huge run and the money from Monster has played a major part in Kawi signing the best riders on the track. Alessi was picked to go, so that wasn't politics, he got hurt and got replaced, it wasn't the color of bike or his morning buzz that cost him a spot.

USA went from not going at all, to Loretta Lynn's/ T-Shirt sales/Donations to major sponsors and people want to bitch. This is more of a case of people hating a dynasty team because they always win. Haters followed the Bulls, 49ers, Oakland A's, Pittsburg Penguins, Lowes/Jimmy Johnson all for no valid reason.

This is no watergate scandal, there is no grasy knoll, it's a moto race for christ sake and the only purse is pride for your country. Anyone complaining about the logos/sponsors needs to open up their own checkbooks or STFU. Just be glad we got the best team going and we will have another year to brag about our riders.

Speaking for myself, I have no problem with the sponsorship or the logos.
No problem at all.

My problem is in the team title.
When you put the product BEFORE the Country, I have a problem with that.

"Team USA sponsored by Monster" is perfectly acceptable
"Team Monster USA" is not acceptable at all

I always wonder how they keep the clutch cover looking so good. They must replace them after each race
