I thought I'd breathe a little more life into my son's '05 YZ125. Jesse Williams at Williams Motor Werx punched out the motor to a 144. I added a Hinson clutch and VForce reed block to the mix along with some shiny new graphics from DeCal Works. Below are a few pre-ride pics of the finished product.

She's perty.

I too have an 05 YZ125 and love the bike. Jesse however will build a pipe for Tfish123 for his pumpkin bike that he can polish and hang on the wall to drool over but he won't build me a pipe for my ride.

Bike looks good and bet it rips! Braap

So I finally got my kid to get his ass out of bed early today to ride this scooter.



Overall verdict: AWESOME



Jesse Williams jetting suggestions were spot on. The bike has much more low-middle range and absolutely RIPS. Ryan was convinced he needed at least a 250 thumper but the Williams Moto Works YZ144 changed his mind. He had a ton of fun on the 144 today and I don't think there will be an issue about going riding again anytime soon. It BARKS!!



BTW, If you have a chance, hit Firebird MX just south of Phoenix on I-10. Bitchin' track and very un-Arizona typical. It's set in an old concert venue at Firebird Lake that was called Compton Terrace (Not THAT Compton). I saw U2 and The Fixx there in about 1984 and was riding MX there today. Very fun place.

that's along the same lines I would tell your kid...

My best weekends were spent jamming, fucking, then, mx'ing until the checkered flag flew. Although we probably need to see a pic of his girl to come to a consensus.
