He's just riding more like Dungey than Dungey is at the moment.

RV rode smart.

Cool, collected, made a go at the lead a few times, realized he didn't have it and took what he could.

I'd be checking the lug nuts over at MotoConcepts if one is looking for a loose wheel...........

He is showing the mastery of a multi-time champion is what is going on here. He knows when to push it to the edge and when to go over the edge unlike many riders. He leaves California with the points lead and his favored dirt coming up.

You realize, of course, that if he wins this championship he will be second only to the goat, yes?

Pilot dude is right but that was one boring performance to watch out of RV. It's like he has been exposed to the old chinese proverb about the Old bull and the young bull atop a grassy hill overlooking a valley filled with cows. When the young bull says to the old bull "Hey, lets run down there and fuck one of those cows!" The old bull replies "How 'bout we walk down there and fuck them all!" I mean, good for RV that he is old enough to have the wisdom of an old bull but shit man, it is so much more exciting to watch the race to the finish when there is some sence of urgency about what he is doing.

RV knows exactly what he is doing.

Do the $ math $ - what is the cost to RV's bank account if he throws away his season due to unnecessarily pushing the limits?

Take a stab at what Chad Reed in pondering after last nights digger!

This stupid thread cracks me up. RV can become the second most winning rider the sport has ever seen.....and Bobby will still say he sucks. Haha! This past 8yrs or so has had to be hell on ol' Bobby.
