This is the thing.......Right when I walked into the stadium.......I walked down into the entrance on the first level , right in the roller section after the triple. I wasn't standing there more than 5 seconds and Cooper did that crash right in front of me!

First thing I thought was " Holy hell..........that was a bad omen!! "

BUT....it ended up be a great night and cooper was fine. But it sure did look Nasty!

Four more feet and he's golden, not a bad attempt at finding a second.

If it's ok with everybody, I'm going to make one more thread about this crash. But I'm going to wait a couple days until this one dies, then I'll start the new one, so keep a look out!!

In all seriousness though, I think if he wouldn't have clicked his rear brake he would've been able to make all five jumps. barely.

Wow man, cool how you can tell what he did wrong just by watching that video from your couch. You must be pretty fast.

Wow, did he get any slivers?

That reminds me of walking into Seattle practice and seeing (and hearing) Doug Henry crossrut a triple on his funky four-stroke. 13000 rpm rev limiter. Thing sounded pretty strange.

I'm just glad there wasn't a big banked up bowl turn right there to launch him about ten feet higher. As bad as it was, it might have been much worse.

Be nice if you could dial in a ton a rebound damping on the rear shock in an instant.

LOL. I was thinking the same thing. But I guess he figures that the Asterik guys have it covered and his mechanic isn't really gonna be able to help Cooper in any medical sense.

@wreckitrandy-yea for sure. That crash could have been WAY WAY worse. His body was moving so fast off the track. It's a good thing the asterik golf cart/quad wasn't in his path. There are so many things that could have caused that to end badly. Damn!

My heart skipped a beat watching that, I'm glad he wasn't hurt too bad. If I had done that it probably would have broken every bone in my body.

That could have been even more ugly if a corner of that plywood was sticking up the wrong direction. Seems like they should lay something over the plywood, or at least run a layer of dirt out farther?

That's just a horrible feeling not having any control being on your front wheel like that. Glad he is ok.

Clearly you need your mechanic butting in when you're surrounded by trained medical professionals.
