Track has been open for about a year and a half. A lot of guys have looked at this but no one has done it. Granted it wasn't a race. He doubled in a few times then went for the triple. This is really sketchy for sure. I just hope our buddy Mike Burgess (Sakai) gets to see this.

Nice Jump. I don't think I would have hit it.. He needed 3 feet more, sounds like he rolled off the gas a little before the lip, should have kept it pinned!

Hope the slam wasn't as bad as it sounded! my wrists would have objected to that kind of abuse!

No, not as bad as it sounded. He rode the rest of the afternoon, no problems.

That jump is totally do'able I would think. The guy is on a 250F and not even close to full speed. Looked / sounded like about 3rd gear @ about 3/4 throttle......if that. BUT.....the landing looks to be a little low and short. Put a bigger landing on that sum bitch , click her to 4th ,.....drop the damn hammer.......and it's party time.

To be honest we talked about it and don't even know if it would be possible in race, you can run so hard to the wall and brake, go over and hit the rhythm section. if you over jump that you are screwed.

Didn't even sound like he was on the gas. Open that thing up and he's got it with ease.

Would have been better off overjumping a few feet than casing that.

Why'd he let off? Thats not a big jump.

"Good Riders" is subjective. I'll be honest, that was painful to watch.

Keep practicing though. The more the better.

I would say guys that have made the show in SX and Motocross plus a couple LL's champions would be good riders

Nice size for sure, the "landings" on both the double and triple look nearly nonexistent though. Even if he cleared it perfectly, seems like a pretty rough landing

Im one of the riders that Chad is talking about. I thought about hitting it before but over jumping it could end up bad cause there are 3 more nice sized rollers after it. But looks like Im going to have to do it now. I cant let Matthew show me up. And I guess holding a pro license for years and qualifying for nationals doesnt make you a good rider anymore haha. Fair weather rider whats your claim to fame? How can you say the riders arent good?

You are right, holding a pro card means nothing in this day and age of all these B & C class riders that think they are the fastest thing since slice bread. I held a pro card for 12 yrs and in an era of finishing top 4 of 40 to qualify for a national to make the event, unlike now where you just need 1 good lap and don't have to worry about a start at all. And I work with over 50 people that have never held a pro card yet they know everything about moto, safety, and the history of the sport. I had a girl that was in high school when moto manufacturing took a huge turn and yet she thinks she knows way more than I do. WTF?

Got a few broken supermini frames in the attic from stuff like that. It comes to a point when you say why?

Because it eats at you when you know it's possible. Something like that will twist your gut all day long if you don't go for it. At my favorite track was a big quad into the whoop section. I eyed the damn thing up for about 20 minutes before giving it hell. Made it 3 1/2 and nearly pulled my arms out of the sockets, definitely strained a muscle. I turned around before it really started to hurt and cleared it 2 more times cleanly, then I went back to the truck and whined about my shoulder. Didn't ride the rest of the day but I got the stupid thing off my back.

I rode there last weekend and thought that could be done, but I didn't see anyone do it. Sketchy because you can't see the landing.

That's meant to be a wall with a rhythm section behind it. Most scrub the wall the double double single. Not really meant to be a jump, but if you build it someone will try it

This is similar to the launch into the sand rollers at Freestone ala Blake Baggett circa 2012. Faster? Debatable? Ballsy? No question. This section is very similar albeit shorter and less sandy than freestone, but the principle is the same. As for the armchair holeshotters, you didn't see many pros launching Freestone either. Case in point.

Typically it's scrub, seat bounce double single double or double double single. Here, he went for the gusto and not only doubled in numerous times, but sacked up for the triple in also. Impressive.

You quadded it BFD if you ask me. I would be more impressed reading you finished on the box at a race after training your butt off.

It is a tragedy obstacles like this exist on so many tracks today and so many people wind up in wheelchairs unnecessarily. Give me off cambers, sand sections and rough tracks but keep the quad sections for SX.
