RD taking out RV and himself in the last turn on the last lap. RD has to work on his take-outs a little better lol

Has there been any interviews from either one after the race about it?

Watch it a few times it was not that bad, Villopoto actually gets a little out of shape coming out of the corner. Certainly not blaming RV for the crash, but it was not a straight clean out. That potential four point turn around could be the difference in this title come the end of the season.

Newbies need to learn to presume the likelihood of a thread having already been started, especially a couple of days after the incident.

He was making a statement this weekend I think, I wonder if after Phoenix all of the bad mouthing on him caused him to snap a little? Because let's be real, people were ragging on him tough.

I didn't have any doubt in my mind that's what Saturday was about. Absolutely agree. Whether it was a good change of style or not, I cannot say, but it sure was entertaining haha.

Everyone seems to think it was a good switch up for him but I'm not entirely convinced. Solely because certain guys have their gameplan and that's what works for them and when they change that gameplan due to outside pressure their performance drops.

Let's say one weekend he's in a top 5 spot following a guy where old Dungey would wait for the right moment to pass, and if it never came would have just settled with his top 5. But new Dungey forces the issue, ends up crashing or making some pivotal mistake or maybe even getting a mechanical DNF from a footpeg to an engine case and loses points. It's a double edged sword is all I'm saying.

I think they're going to keep quiet about it. Noticed (as of right now), no interviews w/ RD5, RV1 or Decoster for that matter.

i liked the look back that RV gave him after rolling over the finish line

almost to say, "i'll remember that one, buddy"

nothing wrong with good hard aggressive racing, especially on the last lap of a race, but that was a silly last ditch effort this early in the season

I laughed out loud at the over-the-shoulder look RV gave Dungey after that poorly executed "pick-up pass"...or whatever it was. Villopoto has nothing to be high and mighty about though. He's done his share of punts and clips over the years. I just think he was in unbelief that Mr. Conservative actually took a swipe at him! Poor baby! Pinch Grinning

I don't know how no one is talking about he RV did everything he could to not let Dungey get up before him. Hand on front wheel, foot on rear wheel...............Nice little trick the pros do I guess.

It's fair game. This was established after the Stewart/Reed crash in Atlanta 2011

Don't know how you remember me being a huge Dungey or even barely an RV fan. Guess the memory does decline with age.

Ha ha. He really did do both those things! RV's pretty ambidextrous, he might have a future in Cirque...Cirque de...Circus Olay.

Peelout: I think Dungey's moves in St. Louis here are a bit more relevant than Stewart's. It's like a complete reversal of roles...except that RV got going first in both instances, 'cause he's pro.

James did the right thing there and has God on his side. In fact James was trying not to stand on Reed's bike, but then Reed, his arch-nemesis no less, picked it up right between his legs. What would you have him do?

"Excuse me, sir, but you seem to have nailed me in the peaches with your motorcycle and put me in an incredibly awkward situation. No worries, I'll just drop my bike and climb off and go around to mount it."
