I'm pumped about Nordic games, their enthusiasm and that they will be putting out a game this year plus it's supercross.

I have bought just about every mx video game made and this one I will be anxiously awaiting.

I would like to add the following.

5). Allow open practice on all tracks forward backward etc.
6). make the lame green "save it" arrow toggle on or off before the race.
7). Allow tourneys
8). Make All Time AI nearly unbeatable.
9). GIVE ME AN EDITOR
10). Allow online racing community.
I agree with some of that, but the A.I. will never be right because it's relative to each player. What's nearly unbeatable for you, I may beat by 30 seconds, and someone else may finish 2 laps down.

As for online racing community, visit couchracers.com and sign up. I just signed up last week. Races held daily at different times throughout the day with different classes and age brackets. 125, 250, 450, beginner, amateur, pro, etc. There are series races where points are awarded, fast lap races where fastest lap wins, bracket races, and just fun races. Very competitive and fun.

Example of todays Series Race schedule(points are awarded and part of a championship):

Time: 4:30pm(EST)
Track Type: National
Track: Maison de MotoX
Skill Level: All
Age: Any
Vehicle: 450 MX

Time: 5:00pm(EST)
Track Type: National
Track: Yukiyama MX
Skill Level: All
Age: 21+
Vehicle: 450 MX

Time: 6:00pm(EST)
Track Type: Supercross
Track: Williamsburg
Skill Level: All
Age: Any
Vehicle: 450 MX

Time: 7:00pm(EST)
Track Type: National
Track: 45 Palms MX
Skill Level: All
Age: Any
Vehicle: Any

Time: 8:00pm(EST)
Track Type: National
Track: Sous le Pont

Some nice observations from the new Mx Vs ATV Supercross video with Cooper Webb. These are from thatguy2 over on the Nordic forums.

Notes from the video:

Go to 2:11 in the vid. Can't tell you exactly why, but it seems in that clip that the physics have been tweeked a bit. Damn that triple has a steep face, NICE! That Triple also features the red light boxto let you know if there is a crash on the other side. Not sure what the point of that would be in a game other than to make it feel more real as I sure as hell am not gonna roll that triple! Also, in that clip it shows that they have found a fix for the tuff block issue!! The tuff blocks sit up and back on the flat part of the berm, not precariously balanced, ready to slid down the berm. Basically, if you go too high on the berm, you will fall over the lip of the berm and just push the tuff blocks down the backside.

Go to 0:39. Damn those whoops are big. Damn I love those on off tables. Damn, that dev doesn't know how to play this game lol. Also notice when he crashes and the reset screen comes up. It says "MXvsATV Tournament" which was the original title of the game.

Tracks look so much better than the Vitalmx vid and seem to be shaping up nicely

Cooper Webb will be in the game

Supercross tracks are NOT based on real tracks / venues. But made to give the "feel" of them Even so the Stadiums look like they will be pretty dame cool

Reinhard in the house! You permanently move to the states yet? You know you want to lol. And Reinhard, put up some moto swag up on those blank walls, it's depressing as hell!

Some good observations, thatguy2. I was thinking exactly the same thing on the video at 2:11. I honestly don't know if the developers had even started tweaking the game yet at this point but it did some much more fluid than the gameplay at the beginning of the video. May possibly just have been a different player. You have to remember that they are playing this not necessarily to be filmed and look good at this juncture. They are or will be in full test and tweak mode so that also may make some of the gameplay footage look a bit spotty. For whatever reason though it does look much more fluid at 2:11..

the sx track looks a little more like reflex but the way the rider moves just looks the same as alive which was terrible

It is really simpler than you think. In the ALL TIME mode you make the top 5 or 6 AI crash less if at all. And you take what would be considered a perfect lap time (easily determined) and put most of the AI in that particular race on those times consistently lap after lap forcing the player to get a great start and ride near perfect laps in order to win that race just like it takes in real pro level races.

2:11 in the video is the same physics as Alive. The person playing just has a little bit of an idea of how to play the game.

People still don't get that this is the Alive platform. Stop talking about Reflex, this game will not be like Reflex, this game will be like Alive. The next game that comes in 2015 might be a lot more like Reflex, and I'll happily buy it just like everyone else. But this is the Alive platform with badass supercross tracks, be happy Smile

The person playing at 2:11 may just be better. That is what I am thinking though that is purely conjecture. It does look much better that that clip though.
