Mathis is getting weeded out of the pro pits one team at a time he and his almighty will be outsiders soon.

How exactly did I disrespect the team?

This whole thing boils down to Mike Genova and Tony not liking that I reported on what Jeff Alessi did at Washougal followed up having Jake Canada on the Pulpmx show where we asked him what went down with MCR. Canada obviously had a way different story than what MCR had and truthfully I believe the MCR side but was I supposed to accuse Jake of lying & have him take a polygraph? No, I asked him, he answered and I moved on. It's too bad that Mike Genova doesn't realize that i was the only guy out there putting him on a show and asking him about the team, sport, etc. It's like a lot of people in this sport, they don't remember the positives of press coverage and can only focus on one negative.

Anyway whatever, they don't need me to promote them and I don't need them to do my job so we'll all move on.

By the way, thank you for my new signature.

You mean the forum would be empty. But people still bag on riders for being home-schooled. Smile

To a lot of posters on a message board, any moderation is over-moderation. Heck, even Lenny got it and started his own site where everybody could have a free for all!
Ha...how'd that work out for him? Smile

Pretty sure it was deleted because the interview was amateur at best and came off as a try-hard.

I think you guys fail to realize, GuyB, this is his job.

How many of you, on the Saturday and Sunday you have off, do anything remotely connected with your job?

The young guys here, that aren't in the workforce yet, do you ask or look for extra homework?

How about the landscapers, any of you guys run around looking to mow a lawn on Sunday afternoon?

I'm surprise he doesn't go ballistic at times, let alone run around with a smile all the time.

Is it a cool gig? Without a doubt. But it's still a job.

There's a difference between not having a sense of humor and having to babysit a bunch dipshits everyday. People seem to forget that it's not just a motocross forum to him, it's what pays his bills.

Ha! Not my intent to be a post-monger. They asked, I answered. Smile

Besides, it gives me a place to flex my lack of a sense of humor. Wink

This is actually a great point. The ONLY, and I mean ONLY reason I know who Mike Genova and what his real business is is because of Matthes and his show.

In fact I think Genova should do more to promote it than he does. Honestly I don't know what he does in the pits to promote it because I haven't been in the pits in a while but when Mike was on the podium if I were Genova I would have him mention Leisure Concepts and slap that on everything. Why he doesn't I don't know but it is what pays the bills and I would have it all over everything.

Actually Genova has more to gain from Matthes than Matthes does from Genova. As Matthes said he can do his job with or without them.

Genova can sell more hot tub stuff (free advertising) by going (or letting his riders) on the Pulp show and talking about Leisure Concepts and selling some stuff.

So the only person getting the short end of the stick is Genova (not that he cares).

Can we post this as a sticky and direct all the inquiries on how to get a job in the m/c industry to it? I don't think you could have summed it up better.
