I fully agree, how easy are these conversions? I seem to see them a lot. That '09-'12 CRF chasis is such a beaut.

Pretty funny because you couldn't tell anyone that in 09! haha... Does look nice, the updated plastics with that classic 04 graphics, damn nice. It's funny how some setups you just look at and are like, yep, how it should be!

That there is the purtiest pipe I done ever seen.
It's made out of mild stainless steel and I have no idea what they use to weld it, but I'm betting a TIG welder. Each pipe is hand made, but a set of pipes is only ~$650, sometimes cheaper depending which bike you want. Considering an FMF pipe is smaller and requires less man hours to make, it's awesome value. IIRC they had a prototype YZ250 pipe (which was made the same way, looks like those factory pipes) but I doubt they'll make a run of them since they only do road bikes stuff and mostly Honda and 2 stroke road bike stuff.

Totally agree with you Travis. I loved this bike when I first saw it a cpl of yrs ago & I tried to get my cousin to go with that look with his Honda but he didn't like the all white plastic.

I washed it as good as I could before winter, but i didn't take the plastics off when I washed it so that's dirt from all year. I'll clean it up more once I get the new piston in. Also I will start a new thread when I get some more pics and start making more progress. Should be soon, pretty much everything I need is in.
