Why do u guys hate on this guy so much? It gets so old! He is so good to his fans, makes fun of himself in funny videos, for all his failures he still smiles laughs about it, trys harder the next time out, he does things on the track that nobody else can do. Rv is like a robot, extremly cocky n doesnt give half of what #7 does for his fans. Enjoy #7 while hes here, he brings alotta excitement to this sport. 3rd 4th 12th or 22nd im behind him.I dont hate on any of these guys. I cant do no better, n there doing there best. Enjoy a great season guys! Where watching something special.

Why do you feel the need to bring RV's name up? Seriously, for an "all stewart haters" thread it does come off as you are the same as those you call out!

And as far as this RV being "extremely cocky", you're just spouting nonsense. From the recent videos he claims it will be harder than ever for him to win the championship with the fast group of guys he faces racing this season. That's not cocky no matter how you take it.

Take your own advice maybe?

Im pointing out that rv can care less about u. Yea I guess im contradicing myself but not hating, u dont c him putting a race update video out for his fans, his interviews he sounds like its such a drag n doesnt wanna put anymore time on a bike than he has to. I guess ur right, as your not a fan of #7 i wouldnt say im not a fan of #2 I just think he is exciting to watch as stewart. Its the little things like his novice atempt at taking alessi out in the heat race.sorry if I hurt ur feelings "DAN THE MAN"

I don't think anyone on here personally has anything against James Stewart, but for a couple years when he was winning his Supercross titles, his Fans were a lot of times disrespectful of other riders and having fun at their expense. Now the Tides have turned and it's Villopoto's and his Fans to crow a little bit. RV has won 3 SX titles in a row and 2 MX titles in the last 3 years and that was after recovering from an absolutely horrible leg injury that would have retired some riders, but yet quite a few Stewart fans refuse to give him the respect he deserves and still hang onto that stupid phrase Fastest Man on the Planet for Bubba. Anyways! calling RV a Robot and cocky sounds hypocritical of you.

statement stand on it's own merit. And not by being negative towards another rider to "prove" your point! That's a

A guy from Feld I spoke to at last years Houston SX told me that they had a noticeable difference in ticket sales when Stewart was racing compared to when he was not. He said that they considered James the biggest draw in SX...because he created so much excitement. Gotta hand it to the guy also for taking a licking & keeping on ticking. It shows the heart and passion he has for the sport...and his post-race interviews & goofy Rick James videos show his heart & passion for his fans. I've been a fan because he constantly amazes me with what he can do on a motorcycle, and I appreciate his closeness to his family & fans.

Every rider has their own personality. Stewart, RV, Dungey, Reed...all totally unique human beings, with unique ways of dealing with life in the scrutiny of their fans and the media. If they were all the same it would be boring.

I think very few people here hate Stewart. A lot of people are highly critical of him though, a lot of times more than they should be.

For me personally, I think nobody has ever gone around a SX track faster than James when he is on it. And I've always felt that way.

Your right dantheman. I admit I was wrong. I have to look at it in a diffrent view, I think including myself, we are to critical as fans on all of these guys. I think we would all love to make a sx main event. Not even the 20th place guy is a "scrub". Take it for what its werth.

You're saying RV is too cocky, but you're also saying he's a robot? RV has the perfect amount of confidence.

That being said, I'm a huge Stewart fan and always have been. But being a real fan doesn't mean kissing his ass. It's being realistic and giving him criticism when he deserves it.

It was out of hand on the first post. I get that there will always be fans for particular riders. But the way some of you jock a particular rider is somewhat crazy to me. How about just enjoy the racing?

It's all good rocketsocks. I used to be very critical of James, now I just enjoy his skill, talent and racing. And much less about what "people" say about him. Makes the interwebs waaay better for me.

Here's to next week @Pheonix, hope he's injury free.

Can anyone show me any place where Stewart has ever referred to himself as "Fastest Man on the Planet"? Who was it that gave him that dumb title? I don't think he gave it to himself. I know certain announcers with their over the top hype did it along with forums like this, usually in a sarcastic manner, but I have never heard him use it on himself. He must wince every time he hears somebody call him that.
