Well how bout next time he's in the states, maybe you guys meet up for a race and you let us all know who has the skills. I'm sure this thread will find him. He's got skills. Just maybe not the type that lights your fire (or mine really), but to come out like that seems way out of order to me.

How about a "get well" from the peanut gallery? Some people around here forget that these are actual people just trying to make a living (no not talking about how he got hurt but the overall bashing of the guy). And yeah, it takes bike skills. Any form of dirtbiking at the highest level takes crazy amounts of skill. Don't believe me? Go try it. Let me know how easy it is. How its all balls and no skill. I thought Nate Adams looked like he could hardly make it to the ramps back when he first burst onto the scene and guess what? Turns out the guy can ride Supercross pretty damn well. Imagine that.

Following news reports of an incident at the family property of two-time X-Games Gold Medallist Jackson Strong on 1st January 2014 please find below statement from the Strong family. Jackson is currently recovering in St George hospital in Sydney and will undergo surgery to his left thigh Friday to repair damage sustained during an incident involving common industrial acetylene gas. Jackson is expected to make a full recovery and once recovered has reaffirmed his commitment to pushing the boundaries of freestyle motocross. Whilst it is expected there will be no long-term affects from the incident, doctors did praise the quick thinking actions of Jackson’s girlfriend Ash Wing for applying first aid, and confirmed the outcome could have been far worse. Jackson would like to thank the medical teams at both the Lockhart, Wagga Base Hospital, St George Hospital, the Royal Flying Doctors Service, The Sydney Eye Hospital, family, friends, sponsors and fans for their support and well wishes. Details of Jacksons’ recovery progress will be posted on his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Mmjacksonstrong.
