A note from his sister Cassey

~ Four years ago today our lives forever changed.. Michael Paul Cinqmars I relive that day everyday. The last hours, our talk, our drive, the words we shared, and the countless I love you's help me face this crazy thing we call life. You touched so many lives, not only were you a son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin, or a friend, but a damn Legend in the sport you help create. I thank you for the memories, love and support you give me every day. You will never be forgotten, I promise! May your legacy live on forever and you ride in eternal peace. I love you to the moon and stars kid! Until we meet again. Cinq 5/26/78 - 12/11/09

The coolest video I ever saw back when the freestyle movement started was Cinqmars jumping their house.

This one?

Is that youtube clip from Organ Donors?

I'm not into FMX, but I used to enjoy watching free riding videos in the 90's and Cinqmars was such an icon back then.

I remember when freestyle just hit the X-games, and watched him throw some of the biggest tricks, and whips at the time.
He clearly should've won, but the judges gave it to Pastesna because they got caught up in the hype train.
Cinq wasn't mad, took it like a man and simply put a smile on and signed autographs for all the kids.
Will always be a fan after that.

Always a big fan of Cinq. First saw him ride in Terrafirma 4. Loved the jump he did in Mexico (starts at 1:00)

Grew up watching this guy ride. He always had great style and I admired him when I was just a youngster. RIP CINQ!!!!

I'm not 100% positive but pretty sure it was an accidental overdose of prescription medication.

The guy was smooth as silk when he rode. Hell, after watching that Terrafirma 5 clip, he was even smooth when he crashed.
RIP Cinq.
