What do you guys think about his attitude? I think he is a total tool and comes off as a douche. I hope JS7 and CR22 walk all over his ass this season.

I've read\heard where RV says that he really hates training and practicing. He said if it weren't for Aldon, he'd spend a lot of time on the couch. Thats why he hired him. I like his honesty.

It's not an easy road.
I don't know if many people are still in this thread, but this youtube video is a MUST WATCH for any moto fan. I've watched it so many times and watched it again last night. Half way through it I noticed my wife peeking over my shoulder watching it also. Her only response at the end was "Wow, I never would've thought Ryan and his family would've been like that". Very real video.

I read nothing arrogant what so ever in that interview nor did it sound like he doesnt enjoy what he does. Even if he did come off as arrogant most of the best athletes in the world are cocky im sure thats part of the make up to be the best . My job can be described as poltergiest btw painting blows

How do I feel about my job? It is a job and it pays good lol but I am not getting paid millions of dollars to ride a dirtbike. As for the edu email address, it is bad to have went to college? I am not basing my "OPINION" off of the one comment I quoted. I mean the dude shit on the people that got him to where he is today. I just expressed my "opinion" and asked what you people thought. If you do not agree with my opinion it is cool that is why we all have our own "OPINIONS".

dumbshit still thinks he's ahead.

Guy, i think you go out to the local arcade and hire a bunch of trolls to flood Vital in the off-season... it's the only explanation for the sudden increase in troll-activity.

It's all very simple, RV is a little bit sarcastic, especially talking to Matthes, if you can't comprehend that, it's cool, but don't shit on him for it. He's a great champ who isn't afraid to be himself, I don't think he loses sleep about offending a few idiots on motoboards.

Damn, I don't see how some of you can be so sensitive. RV has rubbed me the wrong way in interviews before, just because of his dry humor. But shit dudes, this was a pretty open interview. What do you want him to say?

You admited it yourself, he has rubbed you up the wrong way because of his dry sense of humor. I think many people don't get his sense of humor. But in saying that, you are correct, its a good interview, and the part about Roczen is really insightful.

I love the bit about Roczen not crying because he is a lot tougher than that Kawa kid.

Geoff
Fair enough. I'm with you tho, the parts about Rocks-can were pretty funny and insightful.

I feel like RV gave an honest interview. He seems like a person that will tell you exactly how he feels. He strikes me as being confident with himself and confident with the skill and talent he has. A professional at the top of his game will be this way. He has shown us that he can lead the pack, or get a bad start and work his way to the front part of the racing pack. To have this kind of determination does not come from mild type people. I think he is similar to RC. If I remember correctly about RC, his determination came from wanting to be the best, second to none. Whereas guys like Dungey have a passion to ride, a passion to be the best. Same end result, just two different pesonalities, two different ways to get there.
Well said.

I'm ready to see what training with Aldon and RV does for KRoc. . . Before the move, I didn't think Roczen would commit and be a competitor for a few years but I'll go ahead and eat my words. I'm excited for him. I just hope that Tomac has something up his sleeve too.

Bring on A1 already!!!
