I heard some interesting stuff this week. At least one 250F pilot went with a team for more money but then realized after riding the bike it wasn't that great.
What do you guys think? Is it better to sign with a team for less money that has better bikes or is it better to get better money up front but not have the same equipment?

I remember Mama Bear saying when Ryan D. signed with Suzuki -it was not about the money. It was about working with a good team ,being on a good bike and gaining experience and getting good results.
With that said, the money will eventually come.
Sounded like a good career move for Ryan.
He is injury proned lol...........fast as hell though

I think alot depends on where you are in your career. When you are young and trying to find your way, it's easy to be swayed by money, and a bike is way more important.
An established top 5 rider should be able to get top 5 on any brand (show me the money). My $0.02
No one in their right mind would turn down a chance to ride for Mitch but I question why anyone (as in up and comers) would take a ride for good money but not have the best equipment.
Good finishes are what gets a good ride so I hope the people who are taking money over equipment invest their money......while it lasts.
MDK got a chance to run the KTM program and Nick had no choice but to ride Orange. His results would have been similar on any other color and he should be happy he is on a team that treats him the way that they do. Pay is good, travel is first class and the food is tasty.
