Thought you guys might get a laugh out of this. Had some spare time so I decided to practice porting on my old 125 cylinder. I ended up going to college before it was finish, so here we are. Needless to say, space is limited.Grinning

Almost done, have to finish up one side.

Haha, thanks. I used this cylinder to try it on since it is already scarred on the inside from when I blew up my 125 a few years ago. If it comes out really good, I might send it off to get fixed

You don't want to over polish the intake ports, only the exhaust, and porting is more about changing the port timing which can take 4-5 cylinders to find the perfect specs.

You are absolutely correct. I know on the intake you want a bit of texture in order to break up the air particles and allow them to burn better. I only have a dremel and not a right angle tool, so I am only able to get so far into the intake ports, which leaves a bit of sand texture still for the last 1/3 or so of the port. I don't want to mess with the timing or anything since I have absolutely no experience what-so-ever doing this, I'm only trying to increase airflow a bit. Thanks for your input, I really do appreciate it, but keep in mind this is just a little experiment to gain some knowledge.Cool
