I read an interview with him some days ago.
He said he did this for years before every race to bring his heart rate up and focus on the starts (and obv he doesnt care what other people think of him).

The kid is awesome. Above the sound of 20 bikes on the start line you can hear him shouting!! has the talent to back it up as well. Rode very well at the weekend

he was awesome at Matterley, on the podium behind Conrad Mewse, on a Suzuki thats miles out of date , and the kid is tiny.

Ha this kids awesome. Already fist pumpin' before the gate even drops. It psychs him up, and distracts the competitors. Pure genius.

He did great at Matterly, the track was tough for the small bikes after the rain, and considering his obvious size disadvantage (the kid looks really tiny on the bike), a podium was exceptional.

I was only thinking about this little legend the other day and wondering if he was still riding
it's a good case for motocross (seemingly) massive OCD/ADD then boom laser focus haha

I'm gonna feel sorry for him when he gets 'of age' he'll scare any targets off before he gets one away

i think in the 65s it was cute and funny... but now that he's on 85s, it's getting a little weird to watch....
speaking with an italian journalist they were saying that people have been telling him to tone it down simply because he's 3ft tall and reaching an age where riders don't mind cleaning each other out a little bit more, but he doesn't listen because he's (in)famous for doing it

What I was thinking. It was "cute" when he was little in the 1st video when it seemed to be a 1 time spontaneous thing. Now it looks like an "act" for attention, especially when he well knows the camera is right there recording it.

It will be less cute the older he gets and the more times he does it. Not to mention his bike will be puking coolant if he keeps doing it when he gets on a 4-stroke.
