Here is my personal favorite....I have posted this before, but here it is again for any newbies. The picture was taken at the RedBud pro national in 1983. I was 16 years old at the time, standing by the fence where the long uphill straight goes into the Monza Wall turn watching the 125's practice, and I look to my left....and there was David Baily watching too! I worked up enough courage finally to ask him if I could take his picture....and he smiled and said "sure"! I became a life long fan!

David, my wife, and I at a local FLVMX race. DB was in St. Pete with Ricky James helping him with a 1/2 Ironman, so they came by to watch me race, which was really cool for the other club members.

DB getting ready to practice a lap around the outside of the '08 Anaheim tribute race (Bailey Vs. Johnson). I took this pic the night before inside the stadium. In this is David's brother Mitchell, his son Sean, and Rick James Sr.

Of course, no DB photo album would be complete without this picture that i took of DB meeting Big Lenny for the first time!

This thread reminded me of a bunch of cool shots I have somewhere. When I find them, I'll send them over to you, tblazier.

How tall is DB, and why do the riders in vintage shots always look like skinny giants riding 80's? Is it the hang-off-the-back style of the day? The tighter riding gear? No matter...I've really enjoyed these...I had the "vertical-wheelie KX125" shot taped to my bedroom door for 3 years as a kid. That brought back a lot of memories. Next to it was Mike Bell doing a "high-speed cross-up" on a YZ465 with road tires at the SuperBikers event that year....anyone have that one?
