Looking to make my first trip to Washougal now that I'm only 30+- min away. I'll have the wife and toddlers in tow. Is the place at least somewhat family friendly? The off road stroller is prepped and ready to roll. Will I get shit for bringing a small cooler with some kid appropriate snacks/drinks? Don't think the 2 year old should be hitting the beer tent with me. Any other tips are welcomed.

Pretty sure they will frisk you cooler so keep it legit. Get there reasonably early and stake out a space to park your selves: Blanket and a folding chair, then from there you can hike around. Once it fills up the Offroad Stroller will be a bit of a chore as all the paths to the good viewing areas are narrow and crowded and hilly.

Be patient as traffic in and out will be the pits. Best bet is to hangout for awhile and let the crazies race for the gate and the onelane road(s) out.

If you don't want your shit to get all trampled on by the end of the day set up on the south side of horsepower hill. It gets super packed on between the ski jump and horsepower hill now. There's a shit ton of place to spectate in there though, I usually bring a cooler too just get there early cause going through the tunnels with a big cooler gets tricky sometimes. Oh, and find a place that has trees for shade...

We normally bail before the last moto is over to try and dodge traffic. Hope that works here too, traffic and kids is never fun. A local shop told me I could get tickets at the track but i think the line will be a bit much for the rest of the crew. Hopefully I can still get them off mxsports and print them out. Kind of a last minute trip since we just moved up here Tuesday. Thanks for the advice guys.

Getting tickets at the gate is quick and easy. I agree with what was said about the cooler. If you plan on moving around much, leave the cooler in the truck. A backpack is the key. The hill is a decent place to watch from but its packed. If you are bringing little ones, stay away from the beer gardens as it tends to get a bit rowdy. There are some cool areas in the back section up on top to watch and its shady too. Shady spots are nice come 2nd moto time. Right above the 1st turn near the PU tent is a cool place to watch rom too, you get the bottom of horsepower hill and the mechanics area, but the rest of the track is hidden. Best tip, bring some sandwich stuff in the cooler and sit in the parking lot afterwards and eat a late lunch while everyone else tries to asshole each other to get out of the parking lot.
