I'm watching that Latvian GP right now from Kegums (Kegums ? yes, please !), in LATVIA and I see you're serving us up
ANOTHER SAND track at the Des Nations in 2014.
Oh yes, Gypsy, we are onto your tricks....
Well played, Euro's, well played !

For years now I have been watching the AMA racing so why is it sand tracks do not feature in the race schedule ? I assume there are plenty of good sand tracks (excluding southwick obviously) in the US ? Now im far from a pro but i love riding deep sand tracks. Surly its not a Euro thing ?

Seriously though, there is something cool about the way a bike moves under you racing a sand track. For the NW US folks, Horn Rapids was my favorite track.. Even over Washougal, I truly liked the sand.
It is still there and still rough and sandy.
Also that news about that guy who is the president of Monster Energy owing that property in northern Michigan that he wants to develop into a national caliber mx track is sand, exactly like Lommel sand. I really hope it happens.
Are you planning to make it to any other races while you're in Europe?
I am leaving the 26th so I will just miss the German GP. I may be back in September, so if I am I WILL be at the MXDN and I WILL be at Octoberfest. Lol
I drove to Lommel and Lierop 2 weeks ago, just to check the place out and watch some riding. I might go back this Saturday and maybe I will catch Tony, Herlings, Ice 1 team out there testing. To be honest Lommel is just like some of the sand I rode back in michigan. Maybe that is why Stanton was a animal in the sand.
Just wait until they throw in the impossible to obtain Latvian visa's you must get in person from the Russian embassy, Moscow,
the airfreight company who ships Team USA's bike to Siberia by mistake, the crappy local fuel teams must use, the local band playing outside team USA hotel till 4pm,.................................. man them pesky euro's are only just getting started for 2014!
