Well, I say everyone... that is everyone except RC, he went out on TOP like a BOSS! Jame hasn't been BOSS since half a decade ago.
It's just the reality of the situation.
Chad however, either very very sick for months (highly doubt it) or just not having it anymore. Hes a top 15 guy now without crashes. James at least crashes twice to get there.

Since you're all about questions and answers... answer this: Name one "top pro" who won a title, who could win with any regularity, in their 12'th year as Pro? Or 9'th year on the big bikes?
Especially considering there are two current badasses named Ryan, both healthy and fit.

Its called observation. I have never been a pro football quarterback but I can watch the games and see which ones are better than others. I can observe their decision making. I can observe their accuracy when passing, ect...
These remarks about "well you were never a pro, you have never ridden a bike at that speed", ect... They ring hollow to me. As an example..... No, I have never ridden a bike like JS and I have never competed in a pro supercross but I can make the logical conclusion through observation that James didn't win as many titles as he could have because he wouldn't back it down when he had a 15 second lead. He wouldn't settle for second like RV did today. The old James would have gone balls to the wall to try and catch RV even though it was unlikely and not a prudent course of action when in search of a title.
I had the exact same thought today. It still is pretty mind blowing how much James Stewart hated losing. I think the differences can be attributed to the different life development each took as a racer: one living in the second place shadow of a fellow amateur, and the other rarely ever experiencing what it was like to be beaten.
I would say there isn't any.
I agree father time has caught up to Stewart and he is nowhere near the rider he was when he was racing RC. As I said earlier in this thread it is a bummer to see James and Chad (two legends of the sport) struggle so badly towards at the end of their career. It's probably inevitable though.
