Colt did slaughter the field. I just got back from the race myself. Awesome weather, aside from wind, and as Metty said he was surprised at how gnarly the track ended up, with all the breaking bumps etc. Colt was smooth as butter and even did the last lap and a half with a broken subframe. His 5 second victory over Metty during Moto 2 would've been way more. More like 15 seconds like Moto 1. He was noticeable slower that last 1.5 laps (he couldn't sit down)Laughing Awesome racing between 3rd and 6th in Moto 2 between Kiniry, the Medaglia brothers, and Maier. Kiniry and J.Medaglia came together at one point and lost a few spots. On the last lap J.Medaglia caught his brother Tyler and made the pass for 3rd with only a few turns left before the checkers. It was a great day of racing, with a decent spectator turnout even though there was next to no advertisingUnsure

Yeah not bad for a bunch of D riders(as hammer calls them) from Canada eh.
Puts things in perspective though, the speed of the top guys, when the Ryan's would put a minute on Colton easy

Do they have colour television in Canada yet?
Rather ironic coming from a guy in Aus, typing on his new Commodore 64.

Good rebound for both riders, BTW. Nanaimo sounds like a locals track so next weekend will be the true test.

On a track he probably hadn't even ridden on before against riders that had experiance there same excuse has been used for kroc94 last year this year he seems to be doing ok.
Metty fully fit on a track he knows would of been closer if not in front

Why would you feel sorry for someone who's price was higher than what the market would bear ?
X2 500guy.

The thing I can never understand about these guys is they want more money to ride but yet don't even have a damn bike to ride? If you are a supposed pro at this sport and consider it your job why the f!ck do you not have to tools/bike to do it. To me if they want it bad enough pull a Reed and be boss and go racing.
