Honda. We don't like two-strokes. We added another exhaust, because we knew you'd buy it. And frankly, we don't care that it costs more and has no benefit. Fuck you.

Honda and the rest of the Japanese bikes are getting killed by KTM because KTM comes off the showroom floor with the most bells and whistles. And KTM has the best fleet to choose from for all types of riding. This is why they are becoming #1 IMO. I switch from Honda last year to KTM and my first impression of not only how the bike rides, but how cool the engineering is for removing parts and doing maintenance. Hell they even provided me a KTM tool kit with the bike that a handful of tools can take almost the entire bike apart. Even the ktm dealerships are rider friendly. Should I could go on and on how happy I am. Like telling someone to go from democrat to republican. Talk will not help, people that try it will know what I mean to go orange.

Outdoor is all that counts to some. I am just hoping JB has his bike dialed in in two weeks.

In terms of sales and worldwide market share...KTM can't even see Honda from where they're standing...I'm not sure how you define #1, but if its sales and market share, then KTM is still (in comparison to the jap brands) a toddler. And they aren't killing the Japanese bikes-again, ONLY speaking in terms of sales and market share.

I'm a KTM fan...My next bike will likely be a KTM 2 stroke-300XC-(and I hope I'm not alone in that...KTM's business model is great for the sport). I currently ride a 2009 Yamaha YZ450, and I LOVE IT...but even now I'd be on KTM if it wasn't for the great deal on my Yamaha.

So I'm not bashing KTM, nor supporting Honda...just pointing out that KTM is still a very small fish in a very big pond at the moment (but they are growing quickly...and doing so at the expense of their competition).

Did Honda get a top three overall finish in the 450 SX class?
1 Kawasaki
2 Suzuki
3 KTM
oops...no more room on the podium....
Monster Cup 2012. Now STFU.

BTW, Barcia (Rookie) got 4th after two DNFs, Reed (31yrs old?) 5th with one DNS and one DNF after surgery, Canard (Out all of last year) 6th after two DNFs and one DNS...

And to top it all off Short was a consistent top 10 for the interim he raced his own stock CRF450R.

Honda has had the most bikes in both classes at the majority of the races. There is rarely a privateer Kawi... (450)

You and all others that are so adamantly against the new gen. are really, really, ignorant. Yamaha has had an unchanged, carbureted 250 since 2007, I don't hear you on that one. Stewart's RMZ has the clutch burned out or failed 3 times this SX season, you have yet to speak up. The new YZ450F has a gas tank under the seat, I don't think you've voiced your opinion on that. You just have a serious hate for red bikes.

Honda... Have you ridden one? (Do you even ride?!)

AS64, Why not? First test off the bike and all three of the factory supported riders make the podium in at least one event. I get the argument that Stewart nor Millsaps were there but what, was everyone else not trying?

A brand shouldn't be judged by a inept team manager. With the exception of Barcia and Canard who came up from the program at Geico, Eric Kehoe has picked some of the most non-phynomenal riders since he was blessed with Carmichael.

He's been there since 2001. That's a decade plus two.

Outch the Honda fanboys are biting the bait fast here.

Racing is marketing, if a brand wins a championship it does not make them better then any other bikes out of the crate.
There is a whole team behind a win, a bike without a rider can't win, a rider with a bike but without a great team can't win a championship. A championship can't be won without a good mix of that + some luck. People that believe the winning brand is the best brand for them are just delusional and easy to manipulate by marketing.

Honda, just like the V Twin Aprilia MXV 450 but with half the cylinders and all of the exhausts.
