You guys crack me up. She does not care how any rider or family member is portrayed. She only cares if she can sell her idea to any network. Trust me THEY don't care about the portrayal of the subjects, only the interest generated. And if it is like other MTV type productions, it will be bare bones and cut rate.

She just wants to create a idea/product to sell. Not caring if that idea/product contains human beings and their lifestory.

They are not looking to do a reality show that will showcase the sport of motocross, any more than any other reality show highlights whatever it is that the participants are involved in. They are looking to showcase personal drama and outrageous behavior in a way that people will find entertaining, usually at the expense of those they are showcasing. Does anybody think that because of reality TV more people are interested in getting their kids involved in child beauty contests, aspire to be a repo man, or get their kids into the bad girls club? Does anybody think the producers of the Jerry Springer show gave a rats behind about helping their guests with their personal issues rather than just getting a bunch of trailer trash up on the stage to do and say outrageous things? I don't think so. Somebody, probably rightly so, thinks that they can find enough wack job families involved in mx to make an entertaining show, period. Unfortunately, just like all the other shows, there will be a line of people trying to get on the show, and they will do whatever the producers ask to get their 15 minutes of fame, regardless of the consequences.

We've received INCREDIBLE submissions from some great Vital MX forum users, so I wanted to reach out just one more time before we move forward with casting! If your life (and that of your family) revolves around the motocross track, we still want to hear from you.

What's funny is 1/2 the submissions Amy says she got are probably from the guys on here tearing the idea apart. It's amazing what people will do, sacrifice, exploit (their children aged 5-12) to get on a reality show. I truly hope this is something different than what Amy has produced in the past, but I'm not holding my breath.

It's amazing what people will do, sacrifice, exploit (their children aged 5-12) to get a CAREER IN MOTOCROSS.

To pretend that the filming of the crap that goes on in mini families in this sport is worse than the culture itself is just absurd.

You sure got that right triplefive. Maybe the truth will hurt for too many people.

Amy will not have to do much in the way of editing to make this show seem a little absurd and very entertaining

I can see it now, MTV's "Buckwild" The Moto Edition... They are so gonna blow outta proportion how Moto families are I bet. They'll find the most extreme Moto family, and crazy parents to exploit and make it look like dance moms or something... Drama drama!! Hey, if they can show the side that the producers of the Moto did in that show, "The Heart of Motocross", then I'm for it.
