I knew Dungey could do it. All along I've thought he was about the only one who could do it besides Stewart (when he doesn't crash).

Just got home from the race, have too say best SX race Ive ever attended or watched. RV gave it everything he could but Dungey was the MAN tonight. Have to admit when RV got the lead and pulled a gap after a few laps I was wondering if RD could real him in, but he did. The crowd did not sit down the last 6 laps.

Good job RD#5- gotta say, after seeing that KTM in person (stock bike) I was extremely impressed. Surprising fit and finish...

I was there as well, section 133 about the 50 yard line seats. The crowd did the damn wave around the stadium following Dungey as he went by! Last laps were amazing! He finally got it done this season and it was hard earned and well deserved! I'm off to BP to celebrate with all the hometown fans! Go Dungey!

I guess I care considering it was the last race in that dome and weather looked shitty outside.

BP is Belle Plaine, the "hometown" of the Dunge. I actually grew up there myself and move to Cali when I was 12, love going back to visit when I can and this was a great time to. Going to Johan's bar and the red door bar tonight to celebrate the hometown boys victory.

The weather was cool (30s) but other then that the snow was a non factor. May of had an effect on the fans who would have traveled from out of state. Anyway it's the last race at the metrodome, it was rockin, and RD found away to make it happen for his home town fans.

I knew RD was from Belle Plaine, just didn't think of that when I saw BP. Wish I could be at Johan's bar celebrating with you all, but I'm back home having a celebration cocktail!

Good to hear. Hopefully you guys will get SX in the new stadium in the future as well.

According to the PR that I just got, attendance was 48,846. When Dungey and Villopoto were dicing, it sounded like 80,000. That was among the loudest crowds I've heard at a Supercross.

Loudest event I've ever been to. My voice is shot from cheering and my ears are still ringing from the roar of the crowd.

I gotta say, being a dungey fan i often cringe at the things that come out of villipotos mouth.
But I was very impressed with his podium talk tonight, it came across as very genuine.
He said how great it was to hear a crowd that loud for the entire race and that he knew they were cheering for ryan but he still thought it was great and appreciated our enthusiasm.
As a fan hearing that I thought it it was a pretty nice thing to say to us (especially when he wasn't getting a whole lot of love n that stadium...)

I am so pumped up for Seattle now. With the West Coast Lites returning and Dungey carrying this momentum it should be a good night. I was almost considering not going this year but now I am glad I am!

I am a huge Dungey fan, but any of us would be lying to ourselves to say that Poto wasnt backed way down tonight. The title is his to lose, so take a second riding near the limit, but just below it, or risk the yard sale trying for the win. I bet a title is worth a million plus for these guys, so for Poto... its a damage control situation now.

Freaking awesome to see the drive Dungey has right now. Way to go Dungey! Keep hammering that Pumpkin around the track. ANYTHING can happen yet. Way to go Team Red Bull KTM!

Just curious, were you at the race, or did you even follow the race tonight? from watching live timing, to even listening to twitter updates, or even hear RV's attitude/game plan going into the race?
