Stewart doing outdoors then?

I think a lot of people are under judging his knee. Id bet a lot of money some time this outdoors he will pop that thing out. This isn't supercross with big bowl turn where he can keep that leg up if he had to.. This is outdoors. He will be dabbing his foot. A lot. I dont know just don't see him making it through the year.

I'm a Stewart fan, but I don't think so either. He'll plant that foot in the ground wrong at some point and that will be that.

I'm real interested to see how 7 and 5 deal with RV outdoors. He's on a tear and his confidence has to be sky high.

RV, Dungey, Reed, Canard, Barcia, etc. have just as good of chance planting their leg and having to call the year an end as well.
All it take is one race like the 2012 Seattle Supercross to end someones year.

He NEVER said he wasn't racing it so far this season. He even said he will race through the injury. Some just can't accept the SX only deal..

Wait for MXoN time when someone who is behind him in points gets selected. It'll be pure chaos around here.

Kind of like J-Law, with Stewart I'll believe he's racing the outdoors when I see him at the gate.
being from CO you should have went to Lakewood last year, you could have seen JS7 "at the gate" with the #1 Plate.
Where were you Triple?
He looked awsome against Dunge the week before in TX, I was there.

I don't get what your saying, all of them have healthy (in relative terms) knees. Have you had a torn acl that's hasn't been repaired? I have. Supercross is definitley possible to do, but outdoors is a whole nother ball game when you will dab it good a couple times a lap..

I think there is a bit of an onus on someone who starts a post and people who post in that thread to do a bit of research and at least know a tiny bit about what they are posting.

Since the beginning of the season James has ALWAYS said he was doing the outdoors. He's talked about it numerous times in different interviews. After the knee injury and when he started to ride back at a decent level again, he confirmed he would be going outdoors for sure, again he talked about this numerous times in different interviews. This wasn't hard to find, in fact it would be difficult for a fan of the sport to have missed the numerous times he said it.
Ouch. Point taken. I obviously didn't do my research, and obviously haven't seen all the interviews. I jumped the gun here because I though it would make headlines here considering past absence, and he has dodged the question previously/repeatably 2009-2012.

So if all those interviews confirm he was already committed, I apology to him and his fans.

Fair?

I was at Hangtown last year when he showed up on the Zook after only riding it for a few weeks, and not riding outdoors for three years. Straight up owned Dunge. He's gonna be good if the knee is good...

So are we all supposed to believe that just like that........ after the results of the last three to four years from him that James Bubba Stewert # 7 on a Suzuki is going to miraculously just start winning races and championships in the current field of riders? Especially not against RV.......and even RD!

NAH! Sorry......Not gonna happen!

I predict he does not race outdoors. I certainly hope he does! But Im doubting he will.

Stewart racing outdoors is great for us fans along with hopefully a full healthy gate of all the top riders! As for his acl none of us know just how far he tore it. With a small tear and the rehab he can acquire who is to say its not fully healed! I for one am excited to see him out there going bar to bar with all the other guys and hopefully 2,3 maybe 4 of them in the hunt with a few rounds left. This sx season is starting to get boring. Need a fresh start for all the guys. God bless us fans!

He said in an interview that it is completely torn, also acl tears don't heal on their own.

I will be surprised if he can make it all the way through the Outdoors with that knee. I hope he does, it will be very exciting to watch Stewart, Reed, Villopoto, Dungey, Barcia, Canard, Millsaps, Alessi etc... battle all season.

I don't think he'd ever said that he wasn't doing them. We do need to see if everything's okay after last week.

I absolutely agree! If you haven't watched James race on an outdoor track it's an absolute treat.
It is a treat. I saw him at lakewood last year. Some ride.

I can't remember hearing him saying "no, I'm not" either, but was pretty evident for me, he had his ways of dodging the question.

If doubts, his absence, signing only SX-deals doesn't go in line with a person being committed really?

Pretty pointless to discuss past, I honestly just wan't him to do it now. Hopes for healthy/committed Stewart.
