We have talked about it quite a bit in various threads, some didnt find it much of a big deal, others (like myself) find it much larger.
Well i was watching Letterman last night and Regis Philbin was on and get this! HE will have a show on the new Fox Sports.
Seriously...wtf does that old geezer know about sports? (Dave even asked him that and had a good laugh)
If that is any indication what is in store for this new channel, i think a lot more people will miss Speed when then take over happens than was mentioned in those previous threads.

You now have in addition to the ESPN family, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, Fox Sports 1, 2 and 3(I think). I have no doubt there is an outlet for the SX & MX Broadcast in the coming years.
So did Fox buy Speed or did they already own it and are combining the two?
What's to stop someone else from starting up a motorsports only channel?
For 6+ months now you may have noticed the "Fox Sports" logo in the top right hand corner of the screen on top of the normal Speed logo.
The "official" RIP to SPEED will be in August, so we are good for SX, and the outdoors are live on AlliSports and Fuel/NBCSports if i recall? (its early and i just woke up) It will be curious how/if this affects SX in the future?

Good question, we need a US version of "MotorsTV" asap!
