Seriously, the best part of installing grips is putting the wire on, but, then I'm an electrician so maybe I'm weird like that.

So, I was cruising around the craft store looking at knitting yarn like a boss and I found this gem. I'm going to wire my grips in a couple different colors for some flavor, just thought you guys might like to try this.

Well, we know that for you, fashion is more important than function. Good luck with that. Smile

I glue and wire them. I once read that the purpose of the wire is to stop water getting under the grips and breaking down the glue. Take that for what you will.

I use spray paint to hold the grips on my farm bikes, but feel it is a bit messy to use on my MX bikes.

Havn't used wire in years. The Renthal bars are so well made that you don't even need to tighten the grips with wire.
But I think I'll have to reconsider it, I want red wiring on white grips. Bling bling.

I don't think I've ever been known as a fashion plate.
