They were asked if they would bring last years cars back as it is an all around better package. Martin said no, the season as all about developing the car as the season goes.

Ferrari started last season 1.6sec off pace in rnd1 and battled for the title. MAC has more resources than anyone, they can do it, but its gonna be a long haul!

I just found on the F1 site where it will convert the times to your location... pretty handy little deal. I was thinking Malaysia was around the same time as Australia, which sucks because on the east coast I have to get up at 2 a.m. to watch the race. Sad

I remember seeing a commercial for them a long time ago and thinking how dang cool they are, even just a 10 inch is $300...ridiculous!

They are super trick...it just goes to show you how much money is in F1. McLaren has like $3000 just in fans! Ridiculous. Ferrari only goes with the conventional fans...low budget team Grinning

Late in the session on long runs Kimi looked to have a fairly good advantage over everyone, but it was hard to tell because he had less running time as they had to work on his car for quite awhile, but his times were significantly faster on the heavy full / worn tire runs.

Supposedly Seb was not using DRS on his fast lap runs, holding back?

There is some incredible shows on SkySports right now, 1st they showed the RedBull 2012 Season Wrap-Up Show told by the drivers and Newey/Horner. Anyone who watched and listened to what Seb had to say at the end, that was some really really cool (and heavy) stuff. He is such a mellowdude, too bad Jabroni did get to hear that, TonFoil hat man hates Seb, that would of changed his mind.

Well stoked i got a little nap in, im gotta grab some food before P2, it has been a long day, woke up a 6am for some damn reason Dizzy

Hey Chris that reminds me, i came across the twitter account for one of the F1 team guys who works on the tech side, i saved a bunch of pics he posted from behind the scenes in the pits, wait till you see the computer power they bring to every race!! Totally mind boggling! Blink

I have my pop recording it clear inside the house. Dude we have a new F1 fan in the family, I got him hooked last weekend, He loved it!! i was going freakin crazy during practice and quali trying to explain him the strategy involved, but once he watched the race he fully "got it" and is hooked for good. Im so stoked bro Cool
