Making the 10 hour drive to Indy this weekend. Any tips from you vets?

Also, we got our tickets through a local dealer- Dreyer Motorsports- and they are hosting a pre-race party friday night. Any of you been there? Is that something we should hit?

My Fiance and I are going to make the 2hr trip. Cannot wait!!!!! Not sure if there will be any pre race signings.

I've been to Dreyer's open house before and it's good.
And I've heard that the pits are open for the first time ever this year too.

My son and I will be there. 500 level. Awesome seating. Can't wait. At least this year, they'll all be there and unhurt.

Me and my son are going for our first time and we are doing the BTO Motor Sports VIP Pass! We have been looking forward to this since A1. JT has been great to deal with and now they landed Short so the boy gets to hang with him. He is so excited!!!

Im in. 5 hour drive for me from eastern Ohio. Meeting female friend I have not seen in awhile there. It is her first Supercross or pro race for that matter, she has went to a couple of my local races and enjoys it. If you see me say hi, I am 6'4" 330 pounds, bald head with goatee. I will either have a red Honda shirt on or a Century mine shirt and shorts. This is my first pro race since 96, quit going when the King left Honda.

Is there any other open houses going on at dealerships?

I will be there the whole day! Me and my wife have to take the 5 hr drive from Michigan since the series doesnt stop here anymore. Lucas oil stadium and Indy are really nice places. Although i am comparing it to the dirty D. Meeting an old racing buddy i havent seen in probably 15 years. Looking forward to it. Anybody meeting at the bars between practice and the show?

We are car pooling from Effort(Poconos), Pa.....leaving tomorrow night.....not sure where we're stayin.....minivan with dvd players......haha......Dreyers is a good time......I walked from there back to our hotel downtown.....damn that was far......haha......my buddy is gonna be Ronnie Stewart's mechanic....

I'm in, about a 15 minute trip, with traffic. Dreyer Motorsports is the place to be on Friday. Honda-Yamaha-Kawasaki-Suzuki dealer so there should be plenty of riders signing autographs. Lunch at the Tilted Kilt at some point during the weekend.

Flying in from denver on friday afternnon and staying downtown, close to the stadium. Pretty stoked cause I've never been to an east coast round. Already went to SD this year. Also pumped to head to chicago the following day for some st . patty day shenanigans.

Indy is awesome, everything is walking distance downtown so once you're parked you are good for the weekend.

Dreyer always hosts the big Friday night party, it'll be packed. The pits are open and outdoors this year for the first time, mid 40's predicted so unfortunately no awesome weather like last year.

For those over 21, we have our annual party (this is my 13th year) at the Ugly Monkey, right on Illinois Street across from the stadium. It gets very crowded!

Should be an awesome weekend!!!

Also, for anyone looking for a beer and some quick food before the race, hit the Ugly Monkey between 4 and 6pm Sat. We'll be there in force, and its kinda hard to eat at 5pm that day. Also remember its St Patty's Day, there will be drunks on bar crawls all day long...lol

For $10 they'll sell you a pit pass this year, while last year it was VIP only. It might be the same as other rounds where you can get in with a monster can or something, too. I'll be there, driving down from Detroit with the gf and another friend.
