After hearing my fishing partner tell me how he does not like any white foods like Ranch, sour creams, cream cheese, mayo etc, I thought he was really strange and he doesn't want his daughter eating these things either which i told him is wrong to let her miss out on those good foods that millions of people love but he says no way. The worst part? He never even tried any of those and he is 40 years old and a master electrician. I think it is very odd and makes me think he is a bit simple. My cousin comes and visits the other day, first time I have seen him in a decade and he is the same. So last night I am fully making fun of those two to my friend down from Gainesville and he says he is exactly the same. WTF? How could those guys all get dropped down the same flight of stairs as infants? I want double extra Mayo on every thing and smother my hot wings in ranch and blue cheese.

I demand an apology and insist you all attend racial sensitivity training.
Anyone else have trouble eating food when you don't know the people that prepare it? (I don't have this issue at restaurants for some reason)...I've been in too many homes that have cats sitting on the counter, to feel comfortable eating food when I don't know the people that prepared it.
And what about eating foods that aren't the color they are supposed to be. My kids love to have green food on St. Patrick's day, for example...um, no thanks. I can't make myself eat green potato's, and green rolls (but I have no trouble eating the peas).
Can someone please psychoanalyze me?
When we do pot luck at work for the hollidays, I eat what I bring and maybe something prepackaged. I don't trust how nasty some folks kitchens can be. And a cat on the counter, right after scratching shit in a litter box? No thanks!
I mentally struggle to eat at reasturants but do it sometimes out of nessecity.
I could list my process for getting in and out of a public restroom but the basic priciple is dont touch anything.
It's basically all processed crap full of Emulsifiers, stabilisers, thickeners, gelling agents and even artificial sweetners, designed to"enhance",add or alter the taste of foods as people get used to regular taste of some foods when they eat so much of it and it starts to taste bland, or am I missing someting
I'm also more wary of where food is from and how its prepared, weather its Junk food restuarants or higher priced Indian,Chinese,Itatian or local places
White foods? Potatos? Peeled apple, pears? Milk? Anything made with flour?
Not letting foods touch? How do you cope with burgers, pies, sandwiches etc... all american staples and mixed up foodstuffs. You crazy mfs........

He has never = drank even 1 can of soda.. He couldn't tell u what pepsi or coke even seven up tastes like.
He's never had a hamburger. Home made/restaurant/fast food - he has never eaten a hamburger and he DOES eat meat.
I can't let my foods touch either.. And people make fun of me for eating 1 thing at a time. If I got a burger/fries/drink I'd kill the burger, kill the fries then pound my beverage.
The hamburger deal is weird, I'll give you that.
I also have not touched a salt shaker in decades but use seasoning that will have salt in it.
My wife makes a great chicken spaghetti, everyone loves it and I refuse to eat it. Damn white sauce she uses, all creamy looking, She makes a green bean casserole every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas in the oven while my green beans without all that white creamy crap on them simmer on the stovetop.
I got volunteered the last couple years to cook pasta for the entire high school swim team and for selling at the swim meet concession stand on numerous occasions. Stirring in the twelve or so jars of alfredo sauce was difficult for me. Was always having to track down someone to taste test it for me because I was having no part of it.
But, I asked for extra tartar sauce on my fish sandwich today...
