So when does Suzuki start to throw some factory parts Milsaps way.

Last year the Rockstar 250 effort did receive support from factory Suzuki if I understand correctly.....It was considered their Team Suzuki Lites team....Now bring on Milsaps and the 450. Suzuki was probably ready to support that team, however you had the Suzuki love child Carmichael throw his hat into the team owner ring and there you have it....RCH went from green to yellow and Rockstar lost their Suzuki support along with it.....If i understand it correctly....that is why you hear ZERO mention of Suzuki from Milsaps...unless pinhead Bates mentions it....how awkward....so was SD officially "Suzuki's" first SX win there, or no??? hmmmmm

Yoshimura Suzuki are not going to spend money on another private team. Why would they.......

Rockstar Suzuki are effectivelly their competitor for budget in future years
I agree.

I will also add that the Rockstar Suzuki 450 team is FMF supported. Not sure how the Yosh run Suzuki factory team would go for that.

For Suzuki they would be crazy not to give Davi what ever parts and support he needs if James and RCH are totally out of the title fight.
Maybe there was an issue between the Rockstar team and Suzuki that led to them no longer being a factory support team. The discussion could've went something like this...

Team Owner- "We'd like to hire Milsaps next year and expand into the 450 class."

Mr. Suzuki- "We can't allow you to do that because our budget is over extended already, sorry."

T.O.- " We'll it's my team and I'm going to hire him anyway."

M.S.- " You will have to do it without any support from us than."

T.O.- "Fine!"

M.S.- "Fine!"

Exactly...They should run bikes of different colors to promote their brand instead of giving Suzuki the free advertising. They could pick a different flavor for each round and base the graphics on that with say a base of white or black plastic. If the manufactures keep getting everything for free, they will keep cutting the racing budget.

IMO, Suzuki wont bag on RCH because of Ricky. I would imagine quite an uproar fan wise if Suzuki pulled support from him. I don't see supporting him as pissing in the wind, because it's not all about winning, it's also about publicity/advertising. Ricky and his team have drawn alot of publicity and attention with the team merger/venture. My guess would be they finish out the year with full support, and re-evaluate at the end. If Suzuki doesn't feel they are producing the desired results, they can either have more input into who is riding for the team or drop them as a result. You stick with the investment, if it doesn't pay off, they can re-invest in another stock next time around. Just a thought.
