Today at my local track, Jolene VanVugt from Nitro Circus was there. Not only was she tearing it up, but her 67 year old dad as well. I saw her dad slam pretty hard off a jump only to get back up and start riding again. That's just pure inspiration and dedication to be able to do that at such an age. I only hope I can still ride when I'm that old.

Bill won his class at LL's in mid 90's I believe, and was back racing the Trash Can National at Walton right after that. The man still hauls the mail, I ride with him once in a while. Well, let's be honest here, I ride on the same track as him, he usually leaves me in the dust. We START at the same time though, and he's 17 years my senior. Good guy, be happy if I could keep him in sight.

I took my son to the national at Walton just after Jolene did her first backflip.He wanted to meet her so bad and we kept walking through the pits and by her trailer but kept missing her.We went by her trailer a few times and kept seeing her dad,so finally i walked up to him and introduced ourselves and asked him when would be a good time to see her.
He says hang on and goes in the trailer and asks her to get dressed and come and see us.She came out all smiles for my boy and started talking to us and signing posters for my son.He still has them and still uses her 63 in his number(163).I have talked with them a few times and they are a great moto family.
