congrats to Mario for his cool new gig!

I think they will do well, bring new ideas, and raise the level of professionalism.

This is going to be like the IRL/CART fiasco. Different players. NPG/AMA/YSUSA.

And who said MX is dead in the US?

Shouldn’t you be slamming DC and making up lies that RX altered Jeff Alessi's interview?

What does that have to do with anything?

BTW-I was right on that, but you knew that.

Should be interesting to see how it works out. If I remember correct, isn't the AMA very weak in California?

I think YS is good for the sport, bring in the European model and professionalism, get rid of the privateers and the small teams, make it a good money making formula. Who really cares about privateers anyway, they're just a waste of parking space in the beautiful swanky pits.

Its a professional series, it is about making money. Do they present a full grid to the paying customers?
LN cannot do that in SX. The AMA/DMG cannot produce a competetive series in MX.
I am willing to look at the alternatives.

I'll limit my grid to 8 people and have it full, you're in?
Looking at the SX attendance numbers, no one gives a crap. And looking at AMA in the last 3 years, with the same yearly average attendance, what are you talking about, YS won't bring any alternative. They're just going for GP's right now, 1 or 2 races a year. Wow, that's hard to do... arf, double-arf! arf!

The grass is always green on the other side....

Teefus, Are you still as well connected with Youthstream as you were before DC and GL buried the hatchet?

TFS if it's the way you want to look at things and it makes you feel bigger, stronger, about your opinions, then be it. Who cares. Funny though how a guy like you who went all anus-liking on YS, Mario and GL need to believe that others like Jay or myself can't have our own opinions.
Talk about conspiracy-theorist 101.

But if that makes you feel better, than at least I've done something good. Tongue

There's a good reason for that! The AMA just doesn't get it & they have some guy named Stu that runs much better races!

By the way Teefus, I keep trying to register over at Racetime and never get the e-mail link back. Am I banned? aka the factory fabricator.

Thanks I appreciate that very much ! We did a list of tracks that my dad ran races at in the US and it was HUGE, from RedBud their first MX Races were CMC back in the 70's to the First MX track in the US, Carlsbad Raceway 1968, my dad also ran the very first AMA MX Nationals in 1972, he still runs the races and loves to do it.
