watching on go pro its clearly mudflaps fault and it look like reedy lost control trying to avoid banging into mudflaps. C'mon james get freakin holeshot and avoid the squids.

Unfortunately a lot of folks love to love their guy and love to hate the others, I never understood it either.
Every one of those guys is an amazing rider and like them or not they don't deserve the hate.
Couldnt agree more... Had a friend ask me who I was rooting for a couple weeks back, I couldnt really give him an answer. I am a fan of all of the top guys, but I guess I am in the minority on this.

Looks pretty clear. Reed got squirrelly, not unlike James has done countless times, and Grant pushes him broadside all the way to the top of the berm, into James.

Whatever... Racing incident.

That's what I am trying to figure out. It all happened so fast, but did Chad see the yellow fender next to him and think it was James? Why is Chad (if he is and I've read multiple sources) pissed at James?

I haven't seen Chad blame James for this, in print, anywhere. Please show me. Not being a smart ass reed suckler, but I haven't seen it.

Oh, I think I read it on RacerX or something, Shit I probably just mispoke (wouldn't be the first time!). I might have got it mixed up with 'Elle drama' also.
I know James said he was at his truck after the race and Chad stormed by and gave him the stink eye.
Anyways, I kind of wondered if it was just emotion of what happened.
Chad and Elle definitely need to send James a muffin basket or something....

Yeah, he got out of control. He almost crashed in the whoops. But he ran past his truck like he was mad at me or something. So I don’t know. Actually he swapped in the whoops. I actually thought he might have went down because he kind of cleared out for a minute. And next thing I’m over in the bowl corner and then, boom. -J.B.S.

if either james or chad is blaming each other for this, they are both wrong....yes, chad got squirrely in the whoops. But chad has it gathered up until that 33 guy comes in even hotter.

maybe chad and james should get pissed off at each other, they both seem to ride better when they are pissed at each other....jacksonville 09

All this doesn't matter, James is done anyway. He will ride just enough SX races to pick up his paycheck, skip outdoors and retire.

Why does he need to look at it? All I've read is Stewart wondering why Reed was ticked at him. People should treat the incidents exactly the same.

And there doesn't seem to be any dispute that Reed was ticked, and that he thought Stewart caused it. People here were sure ready to jump to that conclusion and blame him for running into him, as if that would have been any less of a racing incident in those circumstances.

Seriously, I went back and checked vids of their crashes since 05-06, and you'll find more of Reed running into Stewart than the other way around. But somehow that Dallas incident, where the whoops were ridiculous, gets thrown at Stewart as being over his head, but Reed's is just a racing incident. That's what causes people to face palm at how ridiculous the double standard is.

So, if he stops idling he's a quitter, but if he keeps riding it's for a paycheck. Ok.
