I cant watch the video right now, but if I said it at the end, then it was because he didn't do another wheely and nose wheely. The whole opening ceremonies thing is getting weaker every year. Kevin is the only good part about it anymore. Canard is at least jumping some stuff

Oh wait, I think I was talking about the firework show

Those text screens are for one reason and one reason only, to collect dumb asses cell phone numbers and put them on advertising lists. Yes supercross fans are not the brightest bulbs in building Smile

We sure do have/had some crackpots around here though. It's what keeps me coming around.

For the most part, I liked the old crackpots, WAY more than the new crackpots.

Put your number on the National do not call list and you won't get any calls. I vote for things on tv and other places all the time with my cell phone and I have never had a call or text with advertisements.

I am a noob to here, but not forums. I know how it goes.

You also joined in 2012 and you cannot count. BobbyM is listed to be have joined in 2006.

My real question was about the Main Event Poll being staged if they cannot even get a new set of texts to display.

I did like that the text, "stewert sucks" kept displaying the whole day. Also, one that said, "Burga flirga"
You won't find a single person who joined prior to 2006....

...however, if you weren't new here you would know this IS the old stopping point for Motodrive.

You will probably have my post count beat in a week, but still......STFU n00b.

God, I miss Motodrive!!

...and Lenny!!

I'm on the Do Not Call list, and I get a couple calls a week from a company who promise they can lower my credit card interest rate. I asked to be taken off their list, and the response I got was, "There is no list."

Now I press 1 to talk to a human, and ask them how they're doing, what the weather's like where they're at...and if I've wasted as much of their time as they've wasted of mine. I regularly get hung up on. I'm waiting for them to not call back, since every message includes the line, "...consider this your final notice..."

I have gone to all three rounds so far. Same stuff at all three rounds. Texting in does nothing but ad your phone number to a sales call list.

Inside the stadium, they ask you to text a message to 66937 and that it will be displayed on the megatron. If you watch the list of texts that are displayed, they are the same list every time they display it. If they run it for more than a few minutes, the texts start to repeat.

I kept trying to send in funny things until I realized that they kept playing the same messages over and over.

I sent in: "Go Richard Cermcikal" and "I love Steve Matthes"

and I listened to my video finally. I said, "that was weak" at the end and I was referring to the fireworks show. Usually they have big fireworks right inside the stadium but now they just shoot up color from the ground. There was a guy running around the floor that kept almost getting his head blown off....

Just a few FYI things for you guys on this...

On the text to screen, the way the back end works is that it loops through all the comments, but as they approve them the newest ones get shown first. This prevents profanity and personal info like phone numbers. (You guys wouldn't do something like that, right? Oh, wait...Maddo might post Twitch's number. Wink )

You might eventually see another post rotate through but the new ones are also being peppered in every few seconds. When you go back to the screen at any given point in the race day, it could be in rotation at any part of loop so they might see the same post again.

It’s a completely legit ‘fun’ texting system and no one is trying to fix anything. As for the winners polls? It's not fixed and there’s no motivation for them to do that.

He came running out of the tunnel onto the track to a roaring applause as soon as it was posted. You must've been in the pits when it happened.
