anyone know the status of Bad Billy for this season? I know he has a gear deal with TLD and changed the name of this team but other than that not sure of his plans.

Within the past month he did an interview and said he wouldn't be racing because his financial backing with the Jentronix team had some health issues and couldn't fund the team right now. So, he went back to doing riding schools and what not.

Might not be a threat to them, but he can still put in some good rides. Dude has had some bad knee injuries and can still run the pace. Before that horrible knee injury in 2005 the dude was on it and more than likely would have won 250 West title. Even last year, he was putting in solid top 10 rides on a privateer bike. He was mixing it up inside the top 5-10 riders in a lot of races.....and you think he sucks? It wasn't like he was collecting a huge paycheck or anything....he was out there doing his job to the best of his ability.

Lemme guess Hammer......you think anyone that can't break inside the top 5 shouldn't even be racing right? I don't what kind of weed you Kanuk's got up there.....but Billy is a badass on a scooter.

I've always been a fan of Billy. The dude was a REAL privateer last year and put in some solid rides. The guy is out there because he loves racing. I'm sure he has a hell of a time out there and that's how he has fun. It's a shame when a no name keyboard warrior who probably can't hold a candle to Billy's skills has to bash on him for going out and trying to have some fun.

I was looking forward to seeing him back out there this year. Hopefully we see him back out there soon.

I enjoyed that! Guess I missed that issue of DRD.

Billy was fast and always had a sweet style. His time as a title contender might have passed, but he did put in some solid rides last year.

Hammertime has really just reinforced his position amongst the biggest douche-bags on vital.

Billy is fast, but with a full healthy gate, he would not crack the top 10 in either class..imo.

Today a main with points is important for your career. Top 10? Mx1 noway. Mx2 Maybe. And i think he rode himself to the ground so he didn't have to race the worst but best looking mx ever. Josh went from top 5 easily, to happy making top ten on a sunny day.

What's up with all the haters for riders who don't win titles? There can only be one winner, it doesn't mean you didn't try hard, you weren't determined, you screwed around, ect if you didn't dominate. Don't live by the saying "2nd place is the first loser".

I have no idea how much dedication he put into his pro career back in his KTM and Honda days but he seems like a guy who could rededicate himself now, and come back on a 450 and get some top-tens. Mainly because he is so smooth and fluid. Great riding style.
