Damn! Ouch! WTF did I just see?

Reminds me of a time I was racing arenacross in the winter. The family that ran the track also ran car races, so it was surrounded by concrete barriers. I got whiskey throttle off a little triple and slammed straight into a barrier. One of those stupid things where you watch the inevitable happen, and there's nothing you can do.

That is very scary. I was riding at a membership only track with a locked gate and was very well marked. So after a few laps I was hitting a blind tabletop, mid-flight I see a lady driving her jeep up the landing! Luckily I landed to the side of her, otherwise I would have landed on her hood or into her grill. How anyone could be so stupid, is still a mystery to me. I still don't know who she was or wtf she was doing on the track.

Ouch. Saw a similar thing during a 250A moto at Mosier in 79 when a morning program rider loaded up his el camino and decided it was time to head for the house. Across the track on a blind jump. Yeah. Can't remember the rider on the Elsie (he was ok), but I do remember his beautiful set of Simons looking like a couple of pretzels.

I noticed that watching Davi's A1 laps. Seems like the jumps didn't look so big, and also appeared that they were letting off the gas so early. I know they don't use the throttle as much as you'd think on a 450, but it still seemed deceiving to me.

It works like they may have had the track closed for maintenance. Parts of the track were flooded with water and there was a fresh groom on the track

That sucks, happened pretty quick. Looking at it frame by frame looks like the tractor operator got wiped out too. Hope they are alright.

In Vallee-Jonction Quebec in the late 80, a guy jumped into a ambulance who was stuck in the sand a the bottom of a landing during a Canadian National(the ambulance crossing the track with a already injured guy inside). Luckify for him the rider only suffered a broken arm

This hits very close to home.

Up here in Northern Alberta a young father was killed on the track in the exact same situation, about 4 years ago. Sickening to watch that.

I saw a kid on an RM85 jump right into a water truck once. This was off a big booter in the back at Amago... the dude in the water truck just started driving right down the track on a live track in the afternoon and there was no way for the kid to see him until he was already in the air. It had to be at least 3rd gear and maybe 4th or 5th.
