Everyone knows he tore his ACL at the test track BEFORE A1! But why lie about it? Does it make a difference where it happened at?

Everyone didn't know it, I'm proof of that. Either I've been under a rock or you are talking out of your ass. I have my opinion..

You have proof it was torn before?

It is common practice not to let your competitors know the extent (or at ALL) of your injuries. Its like the saying about sharks smelling a drop of blood in the water. Nothing new, its been like this for years.

I hear you Scottie. But to say it happened on his fast lap is a joke...

Nobody noticed him limping at press conference or before practice. If he actually hurt himself days before I don't see him even bothering to ride ride the 2nd qualifier just like he's always done in the past. I believe James word on him doing it during practice...

So, what you're saying is,

JS7 set the fastest time in practice while riding with a torn acl. Then he went out and rode mid pack for the rest of the night.

Why would he do that?

Why, in the hell, would he do that?

Why push to do the fastest practice lap just to milk it in qualifying and the main?

And, why is him injuring himself while testing, and then going to A1, and then setting the fastest practice lap, and milking it the rest of the night a more plausible event then him just getting injured at A1?

Hot laps during qualifying showed me that he didn't hurt it before. I was there

I think Lumpy was the designated poster this year.

He was noticeably faster before the end of practice.

I saw him at the Seven intro and press day, and he was walking fine and standing for extended periods.

I dont know why Matthes threw that out there the other night on The Pulpmx show that he heard Stewy got hurt before the season started. Theres ample proof just like you provided Guy that he was fine. I really appreciate Steve giving the inside scoop like he does, but I would have held that one back.

And by the way, JS only has a strained MCL, no tears or serious issues. Just has to be careful for 3-4 weeks.

Any of the guys who reach this level have their share of injuries that they've dealt/deal with.

Some of these clowns would actually prefer his ACL torn so they can pound their chest on a forum and say, "I told you so." Can we dumbgeon this worthless thread now?

Hope that's true. I stretched my mcl a few years back and in a week it was rideable. I actually want to see Bubba have a good season. He can finish 2nd to RV ; )

I've torn ACLs in both my knees. The left one, in 93, completely in 2 pieces. My specialist was the team doctor for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Hamilton Ti Cats CFL team. Told me he'd never seen one that bad. What I know from this is that a partial ACL tear will leave you with severe swelling and a knee that won't bend for a couple of weeks. Double that for a severe tear. I would tend to suspect he either didn't tear it until A1, or at least a month before. IMHO.

Correct
My son has torn ACL right now
He just turned 11
We are still debating on surgery before he stops growing since if we do that then he still has to have another surgery after 15-16 because of the groth plate issues
*************His knee would not bend at all *********when he tore it for couple of weeks without major pain and now he races/rides with a brace.
Funny how some on here think they make $850,000/yr
As a ortho surgeon. Lmao

I seem to remember Villopoto saying something along the lines of...

"I'm okay. Just tweaked my knee a little bit."

Then missed the rest of the year.

EVERYONE hides injuries. On top of that, he clearly wasn't injured before A1 anyway. The only thing that might have been possible is him having a slight injury and dabbing a foot made it worse.

So don't fight. Be smarter than that. There's no need to be the Latvian Lenny.
