That's my estimate of what Mr. Consistent will average over the course of the season.
I think it will be very difficult for anyone to beat that.

Villopoto is in a position he hasn't been in against Dungey before (except 2010 SX). It'll be interesting to see how it goes. Honestly the guy to look out for is Canard. He's only going to get better from here. Remember Villopoto from 2011.

Large points gap isn't going to be as hard to make up as previous years... It's absolutely feasible that RV could win the next 2 and be right in the points chase, the field is stacked, makes it easier to catch up!

As much as all of the riders are going to bounce around in points.......this season could have 6 different points leader before Vegas hits.

Hold on to your seats boys......she's gonna be a rough ride.

History says that you need to average at least 21 points per round to win an SX title. I don't think 19 will be enough, as that only gives you 323 points. The lowest winning points total since 2000 was 338, which was in 2006 when RC won, with Stewart and Reed tied on 336 points, but that was when they only ran 16 rounds.

If he does get 19 per round, I'm going to predict that he isn't going to win the title.

RV won in 2011 with 338 points (19.88 average). Dungey came 3rd with an average of 19.29.

The more title contenders, the lower that average will be
