I said Dungey wouldn't podium. Because of crashes he did. At least I said Hanny wouldn't qualify

Though I hated to admit it, I thought Villo would run away with it.

All the crashes happened BEHIND Dungey, except for Barcia. Dungey went down himself and lost 7 seconds. He had a big cushion on Reed who was 5th so he didn't lose a spot from that. Barcia went down unpressured 2 laps later....your logic is seriously flawed.

I know, I was pulling for DM18, but was also torn with TC right on his ass. Super happy for them both.

18 didn't figure into my predictions either.. I looked back through the predictions thread and nobody called him for podium.
I thought 2 would run away with it.
These guys finishes didn't surprise.. 5,22,7..
Thought 51 would have been stronger, but he still did well.

Stewie's dramatic knee"injury" -- even if he was in a little pain, why not just stfu and race.. how many other racers had minor injuries and didn't say a peep. That episode is off putting to me.. it screams reality TV and tells me his head isn't entirely in the game. He rode good last night.. knew he wasn't on his A game and didn't force it. Let guys pass and said fuck it, I'm in this for the duration.

If he (7) keeps racing with the mindset of staying in the hunt watch out.. once he gets that confidence back he could be dangerous.

The older guys are still fast.. reedy, stewart, and even Davi, but you can see that some were hungrier than others. Nobody can wait for good things to come to them they will have to work twice as hard this year. That's where the younger kids are going to have an advantage.

Someone admitting they're wrong on the internet? Geez, that's not something you see every day. I refrain from making any calls, and just hope for good racing with guys staying healthy. I wasn't shocked to see Trey out front, I thought he had it in him. Were a few of the fast guys riding conservatively? Who knows. That main was a shocker though, and how bout that DAVI? Just stoked for the guy. Put him on the right bike, especially one so suited for SX, and look at him produce. Vindication for his skills and heart, in my mind.

I was surprised to see the outright speed that both Trey and Davi had, even though I know they are among the top guys in the class. Reed took his 4th and ran. Dungey as usual kept his head and got another podium. RV was obviously super fast, but make no mistake, that #1plate is heavy, especially when you are going for 3 in a row. It makes MC's run all the more impressive, to win as much as he did. RV will be back no doubt.

I said that the with "fast 6," only mechanicals, crashes or injuries would allow anyone else into the top 5, yet alone podium or win... all the rest would be battling for the spots below.

If I had only included Davey in the "fast 7," I would have still been right. (at least for a week).
