What does he do? I keep hearing that he is a billionaire that obviously has a passion for motocross. Does he own a business that gets advertising from sponsoring race teams?

If he Is just some Billionaire that loves motocross and doesn't really get anything back from funding a race team, wouldn't his money be better for the sport if he just put the money that he would have spent on a race team towards purse money.

Supposedly there trying to put something together for supercross only.
I think he should bail on that idea. Put his money into the purse and help pay all the riders more instead of helping just one or two guys.

He is not a billionaire. He is definitely a millionaire, but billions, nope. And for those that want to flame me. There is a very very large difference between being a millionaire, and being a billionaire. Like a thousand million or something like that....

I'm an engineer, all of my coworkers are engineers, and none of us are even in the millions range. He is obviously a smart businessman on top of being an excellent engineer.

If you want to get rich you are usually not going to achieve that goal woking for someone else. I am sure he learned that and went into business himself, and then worked his ass off until he made it. And then worked his ass off some more, and continues to do so.
