Everybody needs to ride Rio at least once, that place is simply awesome. I'd be in for sure. I think members can rent the track pretty easily as well, doesn't cost an arm and a leg either.

If I remember right a one day membership & ride fee is $25.

Set it up & I'll talk with Danny about making sure he know a group is coming from a long way off.

How far is Rio Bravo from 3P?

I think like 3-4 hours? Not sure, haven't been there.
No, it's only about 45 minutes or so away.

So How many guys would be in? What time frame are we looking at? I imagine the weather can stay pretty decent in the Houston Area late into the winter.

My job at some point could end up moving me to the houston area. Killer tracks like this is the only thing that keeps me upbeat about the move. If it should ever happen.

Rio for life! I'll be there all the time as soon as I get finances straightened out. Splendora / San Jacinto MX used to be my favorite track in TX, had awesome dirt and a triple step up. It's gone though =[

I'm game for a Rio or 3 Palms deal.

Also if you are in the Dallas area, head North to Johnsonville MX. It's a little drive but one of the most fun tracks I've ridden.

I've got a house out in Claremore, I know your area/situation.
If you go to Houston, live on the north side if you can. A lot of people, but a lot of things to do. Hook up w the moto crowd.
You'll love 3 Palms and Rio. You go to Rio, look up the oldschoolers there. You'll be in good company. Wink

heard good things about this track, too. been meaning to check it out.
Check out their Facebook page too. They put a ton of pics up. I will put a video of it up tomorrow if I can find it. I've been very lucky to ride some big name tracks as well as some cool private tracks and that place is one the coolest places ever. Like someone said earlier, Underground is really cool too. I haven't been since they opened their new Vet track. Hear it's a ton of fun too.

Rio is good for sure.... but you can't beat 3 palms! 7 tracks to choose from and countless miles of trails to ride as well. That place is heaven on earth...

we always head down over Christmas, was planning on staying around DFW area and end up at my moms near Texarkana late Saturday the 29th. was planning on I35, His 956 facility, Underground and Buffalo Creek. may have to check out River Valley and Johnsonville now. won't have enough days to hit them all. any suggestions on which ones NOT to miss?

In my opinion, Underground and Johnsonville.
