How's your Swedish? I'm guessing a lot less accurate than his English. The French call riders pilotes. It wouldn't surprise me that some countries might go with drivers. Yeah, it'd sound a bit odd to us, since we've always called them riders, but it's okay to think globally. Smile

Yeah ! that was another good ride for Norén in the last national. Hope to have him back next year. He makes me a proud to be swedish. This is from the mxdn last year in france.

Seems like a great guy with excellent style. To be honest, i didn't have a clue who he was before the Friese battle, but i'll definitely be rooting for him next year!

I felt bad for Fredrik when he overjumped that jump in the second moto at Elsinore and hurt his wrist.
It would have been his first top ten overall.
I really think someone should sign him for a ride!

Wasn't there a full spread article in one of the mags about him and Aspergeen (sp) once? I believe it was about the MXHeaven place. I would say maybe racerx as it's the only one I subscribe too but I do but the occasional other magazine. I know I read an article somewhere about those two last year somewhere.

Some more pics, this time from 2010 and Fredrik switched to Honda and won the MX2 class in the Swedish championship series.

In the first picture Fredrik in the middle, to the left finishing 2:nd overall is Filip Bengtsson (will represent Sweden in MXoN MX3 class) and to the right finishing 3:d overall you have Calle Aspegren.

On his homepage He wrote that He needed to move on and do nationals on his own!
Maybe have to put in too much $ there? No idea really, just my thoughts..

Hello everyone! I'm a good friend of Fredrik. He is working so hard and he is doing everything he can to be able to race this outdoor season. Unfortunately he has had some problems. People keeps telling him that they are gonna help him out with so much things all the time, but in the end they don't. He is leaving Sweden for USA now on Monday not knowing whether he can ride the whole season or not. He is such a good kid and he is, and has always been working his butt off for this. So, if anyone here can help him out with anything he would be so happy. Or if you know someone that might know someone that wants to help the greatest kid out, he would be so glad. You can go to his website and read his own words if you want: www.norenmxracing.se  Thanks!

Fredrik's recent blog on his site - some translation erros.
Shame he doesn't have anything lined up. He would be a solid fill in on a team.

Hey!

It got to be a little delayed update of what is happening and I apologize for but the reason for this is that I have not been able to give you all the info about what my approach will be as I do not myself have known!

About a week ago, Robert Lind to me Lidköping and we decided to book tickets 11 March which is on Monday, it will be a departure at 6:30 from landvetter and we will be landing at Ontario airport, me and Robert have agreed to do this year together as live, fly and train together but we manage sponsors from private sources, the first week we will try to get in order, all that will come as suspension, oils, etc., and then we will roughly have 2 months to train before the first race kicks off at Hangtown.

But I have unfortunately some bad news too! it's tough times in both Sweden and the United States so I have not found anyone who can help me with bikes so I will be bike loose when I get there, I had a guy last fall that would help me with the bike but it crapped itself will try to get prepared for it when I get there so we can only hope that it resolves itself, I've been doing all winter trying to find people who can help me but unfortunately it is very tough to get any help even if I had some decent motos! I can not get hold of someone who can help me with bikes so I have to buy, which I can not afford because I have not been able to get enough money in the winter, the sad thing about this is that I probably will not be able to run all race!

I think it's totally sad that it'll be like this but I see no other way out so I can make the best of the situation.

However, I have not given up, motocross is a big part of my life and I feel I'm very close to get where I want with my career so I will do anything to keep it in life so hope I can give you a little better information to come!

Would like to thank all those sponsors who help and those who bought tshirts, even Lidan Marine who has given me a job while in Sweden!

Ps. If someone feels that they can and want to help one feel free to contact me

either call: 070 920 81 15 or email to norenmxracing@gmail.com

Crap, I hope he gets a ride, he showed good enough potential last year to get a decent ride. Not that it matters for the rest of the world, but he's def the best shot Sweden has had the last decade...

Frederik rode a few AMA Arenacross events this winter. I got these results from www.vrmweb.com. His mechanic was from Ohio and said that Noren was going back home to regroup for the AMA Nationals. Hope he gets it together.

Hi!
I just bought 4 shirts from Fredrik Noren, but i don't think that's enough to support him for a season?

If you want to support Fredrik Noren you can buy Shirts right here http://www.norenmxracing.se/?page_id=675&lang=en (English version)
If you don't want to pay shipping cost to USA it might be possible to just donate 10 bucks.
