Brownie's a class act. Allways was allways will be but hes an old boy now. I like to think hes got one last push in him, but I also like the idea of him getting out of the sport safe and healthy having won several titles in the process. Good luck to him whatever

Kind of funny that he attributed his results in the GP's to bike/team issues. When he left the US, he had said the same thing about previous teams. He should get out now and retire in TN and possibly get a spot in the industry if he still wanted to be involved in the sport. I don't see the top 10 in his future no matter what bike he is on.

Put him on a 450 and you'll see him move up to top 10. Especially with all the guy's on the mend.

But he considers himself a small bore specialist. That was one of the comments he made in an interview after winning a race in Britton last year.

Not that having so many top 450 guys out hurts your theory any.

Mike is in the lites class because he cannot hack it in the big bike class.
He has tried before to run on a 250 2stroke and also a 450 but he just cannot do it. I mean well, but his specialty is the kids class.

I like the people who say let him run 450's, I do believe that mike seeks out lites deals.

There have been lots of guys over the years that have simply been better at certain displacement bikes, and I'd say that Mike is one of them. Maybe we'll just have to disagree, but I think that the 250F's shouldn't be just for up and comers, but that both classes are for Pro's, whichever they choose to ride.

He had his best sx ever on a rm 250 the year everyone switched to 450's indoors.
Then blew up the 250f all summer, moved to the 450 towards the end of the season and got a top five or two. The guy is a ripper, still. He would have much better results on a 450 because its not as stacked and they don't need have the budget/mods. He did well at glen helen last year on a 450.

I thought he did YOT because it was a RIDE after a midseason fallout overseas. The dude is an animal, step off his jock.
