Soooo...Villopoto chose not to start Moto 3 at the MEC because he bumped his head a bit in that crash in Moto 2...or because he had no chance for the overall? Seems like a lot of other riders with less of a chance made the gate.

Did you see him get up from the crash? He was knocked a bit silly

He's done. His reflexes aren't what they used to be and he can't react quick enough when things get out of hand. Too many hits to the head. He should just retire. Oh wait, you said Villopoto... My bad.

As he started his bike and finished the moto, ........moto 3, why would the million dollar winner from last year ride when he had no shot at the money.............pretty punk in my opinion. No class.

First of all, all of you guys are dicks. My nephew crashed on one of the fastest part of tracks and hit his head hard. He had blurred vision and was in no shape to go out in the 3rd moto, he shouldn't have even stayed out their in the 2nd moto. We
have been calling and checking on him and he is alright, probably a slight concussion, but is not happy how his weekend went. Ryan is no quitter and we'll see what you guys have to say when SX starts and it matters. I know some men of integrity and
intelligence, like Ryan Dungey, from Minnesota, but of course their has to be a balance of the opposite in this world.

Don't let these dicks get to you. This is after all, the only thing in their lives that gives them jollies. Fishing up responses from people on internet forums is all they have.

Concussions are such a hot topic in American sports lately. It looked like he got his bell run pretty good and was taking a politically correct route (especially in his interview with the vagueness).

In all honesty uncleof 2..

I respect your nephews decision and everything. And i respect him as a rider.

Its just the Rv2 fans here, that make people want to root hard against him.

Im quite sure you know how it breakdowns here lol

Tier 1- Rv2 fans vs JS7 vs Reed= all the shit talking

Tier 2- Dungey vs everyone else/ miscellaneous/ jlaw lol.

Judging by the way he looked after that crash, he did the right thing. Like he said, had this been a race for points he'd be out there racing.

Same can be said for Reed, RD and JS7 fans.

It's all perception.

Only a nit-wit would root against a guy like RV (Bubba, Reed, Dungey, etc..) over someone else's comments.

Not everybody here is a dick. Yes we know he is your nephew..ur handle speaks for itself.(actually how often do u actually see him..a ? i have been dying to ask) There was faster parts of the track....i thought the same thing..but we have seen other riders that should not have continued...but they did ok...ie james at Daytona. RV2 is the man to beat and still showed it...fast or faster than js7, but will wad it up like js7. rd5 and cr22 have shown they can't hang with the raw speed of those two..but a single lap or race won't win a championship.

Don't blame some rider's fans for how the rider gets treated. That's weak.

As I posted in another thread, when he crashed he was banged up and his goggle frame bruised one of his eyebrows. He figured the risk/reward wasn't there, was bummed that he'd tossed away a chance at another million, and will be at A1.

Going home and disappointing his fans is well...kinda stewertish if you ask me. If he remounted and won the second moto
would he have gone home? It looks like he lost his chance at the million and went home.

It is only Stewart-ish if the injury is a snagged fingernail. Sucks that a few pansies in the sport have everyone second guessing riders who are actually hurt.

Pansy? lmao...It was my opinion that he was out of contention for the million so he left....I'm no doctor ...But, To validate your fourth post could/would you please
post a copy of your medical credentials.I'm having trouble believing the last part of your post
about him not being able to ride the third moto because he was too hurt/injured to continue.

Why would he go and see Ryan? He can get all of the expert advice and insider info from here.

Probably riding relaxed, reached out to touch the clutch and palm slipped off....right arm pushes bars to the left, and Villo's ribs get punished and he slams forward, then he rang his bell.

I think he did the right thing (or the team did the right thing).

I like being the new guy. Since post counts add inches (feet in some case) here, I will validate my post a bit more. If JS7 (I say JS7 as a business, he doesn't make the choices alone) was more honest and forth-coming with his ailments, a lot of us tough guy web racers wouldn't be posting anything negative and using terms like "Stewertish" as you posted. All I / we have to go on with what is wrong with Stewart was an injured hand with no immediate consequence considering he was still riding, I do think it causes folks to think twice when folks aren't riding and not yelling out "my fawking leg is broke" though.

I didn't personally call you a pansy dude, get over it. I am not new to the internet, not new to BBs, was around to see Chuck Sun race at Washougal, my "regular forum" seems to have been missing for about a month.. Getting used to stuff here.

I understand this thread is about RV, but to clarify, my comment wasn't directed at RV or his crash. My comment was directed to the idiots that get a 3.5" erection anytime JS7 goes down and immediately flock to Vital to form a 10 page hate thread. Unlike those morans*, I don't want to see anyone crash and/or get hurt and I hope RV is ok, and I respect his decision to do what was best for him and his team. The racing is definately much better when all the players are in the game.

Do you say the same shit when it happens to that other rider that everyone likes to give shit too? JS would have been crucified to no end had that been him instead of your nephew.

Worked on you, didn't it? Smile

Guess it's the only life you have though, right?

And as far as being a dick...I never insinuated that Poto was sitting out the moto for any other reason than he was dinged during his crash. You can make it what you want...like others here have. If he was messed up like GuyB says he was...and had no chance of winning the mil, then he had every right in the world to not compete with the rest of the guys.

Post a reply to: No Poto for 3rd Moto?
